I'm between the Erne which you have reviewed in this video and Pongbot Pace S Pro. Do you have any feedback on that one as well?

Great video! I started to notice that every time I miss a hit at the kitchen it’s because my feet and body were in the correct stance but I failed to consider my paddle position. So this is really helpful to have guidelines for all areas of the court!

@dk2373 24 күн бұрын
Point #2 you seem to exaggerate both paddle positions (down and to the side) when giving the example, but when actually swinging your paddle is more like 45 degrees downward, somewhere in between the two. I think you should be more clear on that.

As someone coming from no previous racquet sports it’s soooo helpful to have the 3 levels! So many instructors jump right to the intermediate which may be fine for people who are used to racquets but I’ve never been able to improve my drop at that level and am excited to have the beginner level to practice now

In the first clip, Chase takes at least one more step that he ought to in running late to the NVL. The ball has already crossed the net and is beginning to dip before Chase gets his right foot planted on the ground. He didn't pop the ball up because of Brandon's drive, he popped the ball up because he overran the situation by at least one giant step.

Should a drop be pace over place or the standard place over pace?

Thank you for taking time to share with us as new players on different methods and techniques to improve us as players what Really help me out is what you said about not worrying about the grip and all these other things just get it over the net cleanly thank you.

This is why the newer wide body's paddles are becoming so popular, much larger sweet spot equals better control and consistency on your shots.
@PickleballJourney

Totally agree! The larger sweet spot makes it much easier to stay consistent.

drops..great analogy with golf putting and hitting the ctr of the putter..mentally I would add having confidence and staying relaxed knowing the ball will go over the net..this knowing--will keep u from prematurely looking up(like peeking up on a short putt) at the net to see if it was successful..again..relaxation and confidence are key to prevent a frozen arm stroke...always enjoy your videos..ps..whats ur handicap?

Amber does what I do: she doesn't follow through on the shot. Also we need to open the face of the paddle a lot. Otherwise, as in this video, it's more like just a soft shot instead of a true drop shot.
