He knew what it was and at 10:47-10:51 Momo peeped into the future and placed his Karma on Boruto as one way to obtain the eye, perfect vessel, etc.. there’s more to it.. but this was well calculated from the start and will be mentioned again later in the series and manga. Currently on episode 107 of boruto since i decided to give it a chance despite comments from others. I concider it an average show with good and bad parts so far. But it did give us this scene, which i actually concider one of my favorite scenes, even topping some of the shippuden fight scenes😊
