@@AfterleeEcovillage glad you enjoyed it so much. The construction of the railway was a monumental challenge and effort. I well remember hanging out the window of a steam train copping a face full of soot as we chugged through the border loop tunnels on our way to Brisbane.

A great shame that Goulburn doesn't receive the rail services that it used to, when I was young. If it was at least restored to previous levels, residents could plan trips to Sydney and Canberra, for entertainment and medical visits, without being restricted by cost and timing of transport. As people get older, or more disabled, they are basically kept restricted to the area of the city because of these transport problems. Tourism would also bring more $$$ to the district with easier rail access.

I'd love to see these forests replanted in place of the invasive Eucalypt species on all of our mountain ranges. The rural fire fighters would have a lot less work to do, and the topsoil would be repaired. Thanks for sharing.

I just want to see the finished product. Curious, no humidity control, and no starter cultures. I doubt the normal flora on their skin was all lactic acid producing bacteria.

The 'Business' of 'Malhotra Witch Gang' and 'Joshi Witch Gang' is to 'impeddrelise' people in terms of offering 'Land, Milk and Honey' and on the other side of the Coin, usurping their land. This was done to '34 Atlasses'.

Great video. Shame some of the places are currently off limits. I'm looking forward to visiting Wadi Rum and Petra next month. At some point I'll travel to Iran and hopefully Afghanistan will be safe to visit at some point during my lifetime.

Thank you. My mother spent much of her childhood in Wiangaree. Her name was Fay Olive. One of a very large family. Her sister, Noreen married Clem Burke and in Kyogle their entire lives there. Mum had many happy memories of her childhood there and married my father, Clyde Titcume in Kyogle, who was teaching at Coogal at the time.

Yes, all of the pix are mine. I took about 300 slides on the journey. The exceptions are the crusader castle being bombed by Syrian forces (acquired under creative commons) and the perspective drawings of the Bamiyan cultural centre (used with approval of UNESCO). I was there before they were vandalised.
