Lorikeets loving lychees

The Rainbow Lorikeet is arguably Australia's most colourful native bird. It feeds on nectar and pollen from the flowers of shrubs and trees as well as seeds and fruit such as our lychee tree when came into fruit. Of course orchardists do everything they can to prevent this happening to their crops and our sympathies to those whose crops and livelihood are ruined.
