This is endurance testing of a 50 BMG can on a 16” barrel. I don’t t care about barrel life for this test. Actually I don’t care about barrel life most of the time. I changed the barrel every 800 rounds so bullets didn’t go through the can sideways. I have a stack of new barrels for this. We did 4000 rounds like this on this suppressor.

@@RaySanchezTBAC I was wondering why the barrel was so short. Are the baffles impacted by the un burned powder?

@@user-sr7vw1wp2e Yeah the powder burns inside the can. This 10 round cycle gets the can to over 1000 degrees. This rifle now has an 18" barrel on it for demos for military, LE and civilians. I can still the the 750 AMAX out to a mile so for the urban sniping role its intended for the 18" is plenty long enough. I really like the 16" personally, just to keep it a little shorter. The baffles on this suppressor still look very good considering what I did to it.

I don't think my delivery time counts as a representation of their backlog. They got me this one in time for SHOT 2023 and got me a new one this year for SHOT 2024. Both were rush jobs so I could have the rifles in our booth for SHOT.

If you can deal with a 9” can the Magnus is the way to go. If you want short and lite weight Ultra 7 is hard to beat.

No replaceable end caps. The 338 can suppresses the 308 so well you wouldn't notice an end cap change.

@@RaySanchezTBAC hey, thank you so much for the response. I appreciate it. I realize that my question was somewhat myopic. I didn't realize that can was 556 only. I suppose what I meant was , on average, how many more rounds could you get out of 300 Blackout versus 556 before hitting 800 Fahrenheit? Not on that suppressor per se, but any titanium suppressor around 10 oz I have heard that 300 Blackout doesn't have as much muzzle pressure or heat.

@@RaySanchezTBAC wow that is unbelievably cool of you to do! I'm in the market for two suppressors. They are my first rifle suppressors. So much conflicting info. I really like the idea of lightest weight possible so titanium is attractive, but I worry about durability. I've heard that 300 blackout is gentler because it doesn't heat up as fast. Curious how that plays out in the real world. I'd love to know. I don't need to spray bullets, but I like the idea of getting into some carbine and 3 gun courses. Don't want to destroy a suppressor doing that though.
