Hey Ray, you guys really have some great stuff and very detailed notes on your suppressors through your research. I have watched all your tests and would love to see a 6 ARC/6 Creedmoor test on the Magnus suppressors. I am really debating on a Magnus K, S, or full length in 338 as a 338 ARC is also in my sights. Keep on doing great work!

Looking for the most quite can(without being too long) for a lightweight 20" 308 hunting rifle. I like the Dominus just in case I want to run it on a 5.56 but liking that Magnus. Ive been considering Rugged Radiant, Abel Biscuit, Dead Air Sandman and Thunderbeast.

If you can deal with a 9” can the Magnus is the way to go. If you want short and lite weight Ultra 7 is hard to beat.

Ray; I’m stuck on which can to get. 22” 6 creedmoor. Lightweight long range hunting build. Ultra 7, ultra 9, and magnus are the 3 I narrowed it down to.

Narrow that down to Ultra 7 or Magnus. If you are going to run a 9” can might as well be the best 30 cal can made. Is weight is an issue for hunting then Ultra 7.

I shot my Ultra 9 Gen 2 yesterday deer hunting and it was so quiet I heard the bullet smack the deer at 138yds. These cans are amazing! One favor, would you please do this analysis for the 556 Takedown just screwed on a barrel without it being in the upper? I have it on my Seekins Precision DMR and I am curious what it measures. Thanks!

Gen 1 on a 6.5 will be 2-3 dB louder than the Gen 2 There should be some older videos of that posted.

Looking to get a suppressor for my 7MM RM for next hunting season and accuracy is a priority noise reduction a close second. Which do you think would be better Dominus or Gen 2 Ultra 7?

Gen 2 Ultra 7 and Dominus meter pretty much the same. If you want one can for that and an SBR get the SR Dominus. If just hunting then the U7

Have been using a gen 1 ultra9 on a 7mm rm for 3 years. I've never shot with the dominus, but I wouldn't trade the u9 for any other suppressor on the market. For accuracy and really good suppression, you can't go wrong with the ultra series. A side note on the .284 diameter. We run smaller profile barrels with 1/2 × 28 using an adapter to step up to 5/8 ×24 You avoid the weight of a .660+ barrel. Excellent accuracy. 2 different 7mags 2 different u9's both with a lot of rounds and miles. Never had any issues. Tb makes some quality suppressors

I like the Ultra 9, but the Dominus might be the better route for me to go if I plan to use it on also my AR-15. I might get both if they're both better than the Sandman and Omega36M (which are my other two choices right now, 3 cans total).

As someone who has an g2 ultra 7, a g2 338, and a Dominus.. 6.5cm and 223 out of my full size desert techs, all 3 are laughable. It sounds like a mild cough. Even 338 was hilarious. Every time I demo those 3 people can’t believe how amazing they sound.
