Just saw phantom today for the last time before they close in April....had to return to my first and favorite phantom to travel back in time

My Dad went to high school with James Barbour many many years ago not to mention that they both became friends in that process. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this musical while James was the Phantom and he blew me away every time. I never would have guessed that my Dad would go to high school and become friends with someone who would go on to be famous and become the star of a broadway musical for that matter

I hope this can be downloaded onto MP3 as I would love to do a recording of this Title song in a recording studio so I do my performance as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera if I ever get that opportunity to play the role

Did you take the original track and remove the vocals or did you recreate the track. If you did recreate the song from scratch what did you use to make the organ, bass synth and drum machine sounds? Great work!

Considering James Barbour's past the lyric "My power over you grows stronger yet" sounds really disturbing. I feel gross

it's so good to have a backing track for this song from the London production of show and there is also a broadway one on youtube as well and if you listen to both of them you can hear the differences and in my opinion the London one is better!

In the picture of this video, Kieran Brown looks a bit like Henk Poort as the Phantom. For those who can't recall: Henk Poort was the first Phantom of the dutch production / Scheveningen back in 1993. But anyway, Kieran Brown seems to have a solid voice. Although it might not blow me away it is still better than one of those boyish Phantoms you'd occasionally meet in London. The kinds of Peter Jöback, etc.

i went to see this, January 15th or 16th i cant remember, i came all the way down from Hull. I cant remember exactly how Wonka looked or sounded but i dont think it was this guy. i want to go back and see it again but im worried that different performers next time round might ruin it from my previous experience :-/
