Awesome project! Would it be possible to have GPT-4o do the speech processing and have another service provide a custom voice for output? New to the ML and AI world, but have been inspired by the GPTars page on reddit and instagram and am considering taking a crack at it if that gives you an idea of what I'm after.

Hey Elliot! I really like your videos. What you do is important for people who search for information about neural networks. Could you recommend some books about neural networks (especially in llms) and how they work under the hood?
@elliotarledge2 ай бұрын
I haven't read any books. Karpathy has lectures on youtube for this where he builds stuff from scratch and explains really well. Freecodecamp is also a good resource (I have a couple courses on there). Talking to people in the space and building up your own projects is the fastest way to learn imo

This has scratched an itch I've been having for weeks! I've been trying to understand the exact functions of each weight within the matrix and trying to understand how the architecture works. The problem I've had so far is every explication comes with handwavy explanations about how these things work which isn't useful if you're really trying to optimize these networks. Right now I'm struggling with incorporating RAG infrastructure to my current local LLM set up because, up until now, I've just been using standard tools and standard methods without really understanding what I was doing. I'm not any closer to solving that issue, but changing gears and going over the basics again with this level of nuanced detail is quite excellent. At 13:33, this seems almost like the Euclidean distance formula but more akin to the mean of the Euclidean distance? Which is very interesting to see here but not surprising given that we're working with tensors which are often used to represent 3D+ space.

I tried it out and had some improvement ideas because of some unintended cases: 1. When using vpn, selenium slows down, after Google needs to find out if I'm human or not, this selenium not finding the correct element anymore (same with Google privacy policy at the beginning? 2. Some websites have infinite response loops, means selenium keeps forever in that await response request 3. PDF like should be looked for validity (so that there are not unwanted "pdf"s looking like one but aren't. 4. Maybe an manual skip prompt for the console to cancel a long running process or sticked download. Everything else work fine, thank you for that sweet tool 😁

I'm obviously not involved in AI, but if you're trying to learn about something and this is the answer given it gives you no help in learning about a topic. This only tells you about your learning style and how it could impact your learning of said topic, but does not guide you on places or things you can do to learn about said topic. "Just doing projects" won't help you learn about something you need to gather information from different parties about the topic.

I’m surprised i hadn’t heard about this anywhere else to be honest very interesting video. I would say as a bit of feedback, I wasn’t sure what this video was about but i gave it a chance anyway, if you do want more exposure you need people to watch the video as long as possible. So some suggestions, work on a more descriptive thumbnail maybe and start the video with a brief explanation and demonstration of what we saw nearer the end. Without that I wasn’t sure for a while if the minecraft meets ai meant that you were playing the game with ai, an ai was playing the game or if you was interacting with the ai through the game for example. That uncertainty/concussion would make most click off. Anyway good luck and nice video
