Yeah I was pretty tired for reelz. Those things were monsters. Didn’t get the video response I wanted yet but we’ll see how it does long term. U can’t get much more massive catches than that. But I had a great time doing it and making the video.

They’re way up in the creeks and pretty spread out at this point following bait. Yes I do have some inshore sheeper recommendations. @@BLewin-v9i it was a tough day. Wind was wild and the water was super high, muddy and fast. The surf might be a better bet because of all this fresh water in the creeks from the rain. It’s been a grind for sure. Lets me know if u do any good…. I hope the weather will b better for you.

@@pamelajones532 just out of curiosity…. What were u using for bait? Only reason I ask is because I have found that the bigger ones will only come outta their spots for bigger baits. If I have a larger mud minnow or gulp they seem to rock that in the exact same spot I threw a smaller bait earlier. Did u experience that? Almost like they’re waiting for something worth it.

I'm cool with anything you post. I HATE catching blue fish. But watching you, I have no angst. I use treble hooked lures. They shake. So I hate them. You use a single hook, and the sand controls their flopping. I'll just subscribe and wait to watch anything you post.

Caught one at FT George inlet last week on a jig head and mud minnow that was about 8.5lb. That's my biggest on rod n ree I've gigged a couple that was a little bigger near the coast guard station at mayport.
