They completely lost me with the new display. Looks like they mounted an Ipad to the front of the bike compared to the sleek previous version, TFT or no - new one is out of sync with the lines of the bike 🤮

I take it your bike does not have the new Honda e-clutch system? Unfortunately Canada did not get the 2024 Honda cb650r's, so I'm having to wait for the 2025 and looking forward to the e-clutch. From what I've read and seen it's a very nice system to have. Enjoy.

Very helpful, thanks for sharing! I need to learn and practice that segment too. Starting on a inline 4 600 naked can be intimidating. 😅 Tried to rev match once and the bike kicked hard but it has strong engine breaking. The 650 is perfect and so much friendly. 🥰
@MotoMacek13 күн бұрын
Hahah yeah exactly I also experienced a lot of "kicking" from the bike haha lately I improved a lot. It's just a matter of practice, patience and muscle memory. You will figure it out really fast, just ride a lot! :)
@The.JZA.14 күн бұрын
Nice bike bro. I highly recommend doing some defensive rider training and when you get a bit more confident, do a track day with instructors. You will learn a lot by going to a track. You don't have to go super fast straight away. Start slow and lap after lap you will get more confident, better at braking, learn how the bike feels and what the tyres can do (when hot) etc. Worth it.
@theslowdeathoftheuniverse14 күн бұрын
I did rev matching on my CB 125R... I sold it and got XSR700 but it's raining and had no chance to ride. I actually wonder if is that different on stronger bike compared to 125, small bikes engine break insanely strong. I rode only in a city so constant start and stops helps with learning. You should go to some bigger city and just ride in traffic for a while, it really pushes clutch, throttle, starts stops skills

My friend how do you find the riding position? Do you feel any discomfort on longer rides? I would really like to buy a 2024 CB660R with the E clutch now, but unfortunately Honda didn't bring the 2024 model into Canada, so I have to wait until the end of the year for a 2025 model.

Got myself a nail in the rear tire on my 1 week old Honda. Glad that I have tire insurance from the dealer and they will replace the tire free of charge. I have trouble to get used to changing gears up smoothly. Unfortunately got no quick shifter on mine.

Hi, I'm from the UK and starting the process of getting my licence soon. I love the look of these bikes and was unsure if a 650 is a smart move for a beginner. However, during the lessons and tests here, I'll be put on a bike of a minimum of 600cc..so I figured I'd get used to that. Plus what you say in your video has helped ease my mind. I would definitely love a cb650r.
@MotoMacekАй бұрын
It really can be a starter bike! I was really afraid it would be too much also. But honestly after 2 hours of riding I felt right at home on the bike. Just keep it below 7000RPM please. But you will see how quickly you will get used to it! I basically had no other choice because of the size of the bikes. At 194cm I would look and feel silly on a small 400cc.
@GT.BuggerАй бұрын
@MotoMacek I feel like I'd regret getting a 400cc also like you said.

Hi, I love your videos. I'm somewhat of a beginner rider myself as I've only been riding a 1994 moped 110cc for a few months now to practice slow speed maneuvers and turns. Honestly, I've been contemplating to get the CB650R for months end now, and your videos are helping me understand better from the beginner's POV. Unfortunately, in Malaysia, the 2023 model would only be arrive by the end of this month or July; 2024 model would only be available early next year in 2025 :( I'm thinking of just committing to get the 2023 model at this point. What are your thoughts?
@MotoMacekАй бұрын
I passed my driving licence on the 2023 model and basically the only real difference is the TFT display.. exactly the same bike almost. You cannot go wrong with either bike! And thank you ! :)
