Hello everybody!
Welcome to my channel! After a lot of comments from you guys that said I should learn revmatching on my downshifts I naturally had to start practicing it. This is a ride where I practice downshifting. Some of them are OK while some of them are a very bad.
Bike: Honda CB650R (2024) - Normal Clutch version (not E-Clutch)
Additional equipment: Quickshifter + SW Motech Protection bars
This video is 100% created by the use of artificial intelligence and all charaters and objects are completely fictional.

Very helpful, thanks for sharing! I need to learn and practice that segment too. Starting on a inline 4 600 naked can be intimidating. 😅 Tried to rev match once and the bike kicked hard but it has strong engine breaking. The 650 is perfect and so much friendly. 🥰

Hahah yeah exactly I also experienced a lot of "kicking" from the bike haha lately I improved a lot. It's just a matter of practice, patience and muscle memory. You will figure it out really fast, just ride a lot! :)

it's gonna be hard to revmatch when your starting revs are too high. it won't be smooth because theres not much place for the engine to rev up to when you blip the throttle. also note that you downshift, not just to get into a higher RPM to pass, but also to use engine braking when decelerating. most of your downshifts are still the slipper clutch helping the engine catch up to the wheels. practice the timing of each step separately at a safe speed. instead of going from 4th gear at 5k rpm going to 3rd (at a significantly higher rpm which is dangerous esp thats where the cb650r torque starts to pull hard), try starting from cruising rpm (3-4k) and rev matching from there to accelerate (throttle on) or decelerate (throttle off/engine brake). it helps to know WHY you rev match aside from just how. Hope this helps and ride safe!

Thanks so much for this! Most of my rev matches now are pretty solid but im still working on them. I think you can see in the latest videos.

Gruss Thailand 1959.

by the way i noticed the stereo audio is reversed (cars passing by on the left audio appears on the right). might want to check that for future vids!

I did rev matching on my CB 125R... I sold it and got XSR700 but it's raining and had no chance to ride. I actually wonder if is that different on stronger bike compared to 125, small bikes engine break insanely strong. I rode only in a city so constant start and stops helps with learning. You should go to some bigger city and just ride in traffic for a while, it really pushes clutch, throttle, starts stops skills

I take it your bike does not have the new Honda e-clutch system? Unfortunately Canada did not get the 2024 Honda cb650r's, so I'm having to wait for the 2025 and looking forward to the e-clutch. From what I've read and seen it's a very nice system to have. Enjoy.

Judging by the dash, it does. Earlier models have a different dash. But it's always good to train rev matching. The e-clutch can also be disabled via the mentioned new dash.
