The kit came with loctite but i dont see any being used. Which bolts should have loctite?

Sorry we didn't cover that! The Loctite goes on the M6 bolts that mount the feet into the roof track.

@@sherpaec thanks for the reply. Its also missing on the instructions PDF (for the matterhorn sport). When you say ."feet to the roof rack" do you mean the bolts that go into the toyota track nuts or the bolts that mount the feet to the crossbar's track nuts? Or both? *edit* i see now you said roof TRACK. Thanks again!

I like your design in that you can still remove the roof and have half the rack...I originally was going to purchase two rear JC racks and put them back to back so that I can still remove the roof. Good detail on the installation. Wouldn't be better to install the threaded rivets into the roof, then install the rack with bolts with blue locktite on them?

I assume uninstall of the front half is just the reverse process - slightly loosen front bolt, then completely loosen upper 2 bolts..... continue all the way around, and lift off in 1 piece(?)

Only issue I've ran into is I cracked my windshield and there are no replacements available yet.. all on backorder (and mines tinted lol) so don't break one!!!!

i highly recommend upgrading the roof rack, the amount of flimsy plastic parts used by toyota and then them saying the rack-rating is sufficient, is ridiculous.

Installed mine last week. Quality is top notch, followed this video during the install and it was super easy. The one issue i discovered is after a rain, when i get into the vehicle, the rain that collected in the grooves of the crossbars dumps on me while door is still open (or if window is open). I am considering drilling holes in crossbars to help divert the water. Overall very happy with quality and construction. *update* Purchased 80/20 brand 10 series t-slot cover and the water drainage issue is solved...
