Big ups to self control on not pulling trigger on that stag. Only true hunters I reckon share your control especially a nice animal like that. Really liked how you knew what you were after & just enjoyed everything else & left that side of it to go in being. Cheers for the watch bro, I hope you’ll be back hunting in NZ again future

Hey mate do you ever chase goats? I wouldn't mind coming out with you if so. Don't mind sharing fuel cost etc. And I'm always willing to carry an animal if need be

Mutton cloth. You had any issues with flies blowing through it during summer?
@rickmelhuish16025 жыл бұрын
I reckon the most important clothing you wear while hunting is something visible to other hunters. Orange blaze or something like that. Granted you might have just taken off your orange cap.

Hey mate was just wondering if you went to the hut on the first block as I’m planning to head out there
@HuntandFish5 жыл бұрын
Wear some blaze mate. Next time you might not get a bloke who takes the time to identify the target.

Timely message, I'm just another keen hunter so I thought i'd add some stats to add to it. Ironically, its not just young ones, its older more experienced hunters that are involved too. See pages 7 and 8 :) sportingshooters.nz/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Analysis-of-MSC-unintentional-shootings-mk-2.pdf

Man that’s cool bro, do they have to do any culling or anything to control numbers?
@007bushwakka6 жыл бұрын
yes and no, the locals control numbers on the surrouding properties then i think every 5 mabe 10 years the army will come in and take a whole lot out from what ive heard...
