yea mate kinda seemed like it had, does it effect kiwi i wonder? cos there is alot of kiwi recovery in that area i hear

Not sure about kiwi. I'd be surprised though as the drops were part of battle for our birds. I think it was done in 2013 and 2016 in that area.

I have spent several days this summer on the tops around Lake Hawea and the same no deer. I watched a WARO cover where I was in 10 min what took me 2 days to get around. I wish the venny prices would drop so the choppers bugger off. Love your work bro, keep it up.

cheers mate, yea i heard from a mate that this particular spot could have had no deer due to the fact the PH levels in the soil were too high? i have heard of this before but never tested it out. yea it is a shame with the choppers around and the venison prices high. any way good luck on your adventures bro!

Chur Bro. That could explain why a catchment up Dobson I went to Had plenty of tucker but no sign anywhere , yet deer and Tahr either side. Found that strange. Cheers for that info bud.

yep its unfortunate that the relatively easily walk in areas get hammered and the blocks way back dont get as much WARO pressure, should be the other way round, leave the accessible areas for foot hunters..... you'll be beating your head against a brick wall if you think you can get through to the people who make the decisions though...
