can you make a sink basin? I want to do that, but I desperately want to see someone else do it first to show what might go wrong.

What if instead of a beehive it were like a helterskelter where the center area were fully open and the tube were like continuous coil.

What if you made another one only taller like 7 feet tall maybe more cooling area might drop the temperature even more. The ancient roman cooling method was the atrium where a breezeway high up allowed air to flow across a central fountain. It also seems to me that it should be high up as cold air falls and hot air rises so you’d want to be below it. A nuclear stack is also an effective design for cooling.

you should add recycling symbols and stickers to make it look like it was made from old boxes. p.s, great video. first time i ever watched one of your vids, actually!

You need one of those magnetic mixers used in chemistry to keep the glaze in suspension while you dip. You know one of those magnetic pill things you drop in the container. Then you sit the container over a base that has another magnet in it to make it spin. That would've been perfect.

I miss it . right now I am in an apartment and soon to spend some months to. whatever time in a motor home. this would be perfect. i think it turned out beautiful! happy accidents make the craft unpredictable and therefore the product so much more special, that’s how i feel about it at least :)

you might be showing a little bias, with the foot petal @ 7:40-ish. Maybe your not biased, maybe just not trying to be too negative. Nice people often default there (I consider you a nice person :) ). "maybe kinda not as good a my shimpo..." Let me say it for you: that vevor pedal is a cheap plastic piece of sh ! t. It will likely have 1/4 the lifespan of a quality foot pedal. it weights exactly negative 1kg and slides all over the floor. Mine has no zero start ramp up, it jumps right to a medium RPM. Instead of adapting a whole new set of skills to accommodate this cheap crap, I told them to fix/replace it. The customer service is responsive....but makes you wait "24-72 hours" between replies.

I'm watching a lot of your videos to refresh my memory as I'm getting back into a ceramics studio for the first time in 14 years. And this one has unlocked some forgotten college memories of late nights with deadlines looming, having half the wheels in the room turning as slow as they'll go, with hair dryers wedged in place with bricks blowing on them trying to get as many things as I could ready to trim ASAP

One of the things I love most about pottery/ceramics is it keeps us connected with even our earliest ancestors. One of the most important things our ancestors made clay vessels for was to store water in them! I can just imagine our ancient ancestors appreciating the awesome convenience and functionality of the modern spigot. 😂😂😂
