I am working on Suzuki Swift 2023 model but cannot get the APP to read the CAN data. I have seen that the CAN_SPEED must be 500kbits/s and set the RANDOM_CAN = 0 if on 1 I get the dummy data, but no luck with reading data on my Suzuki yet.

Thank you for letting me know about this important danger. I was made a criminal by having the DSG and accelerator of a Volkswagen manufactured in 2013, which uses the same CAN, hacked. Please provide a video of the accelerator and DSG hacking. Thank you in advance.

Your project is very interesting I have followed it very closely and I am making my own for my car. But I see a flaw, the car must be on. In my previous project I could access a lot of information about the car from anywhere even with the car off. Except that Jaguar cut off my access to its server. Can you think of a way to do this?

why not use esp32-s3? integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, support USB and several TWAI interfaces in one module. Need only 3 tranceiver

How do I get it to work be 2023 vehicles
@elalaouielectrique7253Ай бұрын
Hello , I’m working on a project where I simulate a vehicle in MATLAB. The simulation data is sent in real-time to an Arduino microcontroller, which is connected to an MCP2515 CAN interface. The goal is to send this data to an OBD-II module via the CAN bus and then read it in a mobile application compatible with OBD-II. Here’s what I have set up so far: The 120-ohm termination resistors are properly installed. The CAN bus is configured at 500 kbps. I am sending CAN frames from the Arduino (e.g., ID 0x7DF with data like 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00). The ground is shared between the Arduino, MCP2515, and the external 12V power supply for the OBD-II module. Despite this, I am not receiving any response from the OBD-II module. I’ve also tested with several mobile apps, but no data seems to be transmitted. I’d like to know: Is my wiring complete, or should additional pins, like the OBD-II chassis ground, be connected? Are there specific steps to test or enable communication with an OBD-II module using an MCP2515 and the J2234 protocol? Has anyone successfully set up a similar configuration and could share advice or a compatible example code? Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

South African tech nerds are hacking cars and switching engines off remotely. They think it's a game. They doing it to anyone who is not aware and people pay for costly repairs when there's nothing actually wrong with their car.

Thank you for the videos. Were helpful. I have a question: how can you find out which speed does the low speed can have in your car? I tried all standard speed from 5k to 500k. Just the 500k works. The rest didn't work 😪

I'm an industrial control engineer just breaking into CAN bus communication to sensors brought to the industry in the past 10 yrs. We work mostly with PLC's on either hardwire, RS-485 or EthernetIP....now there are sensors on CAN...the older PLC's need change outs and we need CAN adapters and understanding to re-engineer these PLC systems which become outdated. Thanks for the intro tutorial of the basics.

This is inspiring. I've just got a new-new car (vs years of 10+ year old £500 cars) and am not delighted with the touchscreen HVAC controls. Looks like I could make a physical HVAC panel and hook it to the OBDII port. Hmm...
