I have a 1000 dives from around the world, been surrounded while all alone by dozens of sharks circling me like in the movies and have been face to face with may other huge man eating sharks. When ask was I afraid, I tell everyone that the closest to death I have come while on a dive trip is when I was wading in 1 ft of water off Curacao and I picked up a blue ring octopus with the top of my foot, we both smiled at one another. Thankfully the little critter knew I was a friend and I sent him back on his way into the shallows.
