Yes. Wire whisk can be used. If don't have wire whisk, you can get same effect with two forks taping together. The only goal is to mix ingredients uniformly and to get light and aerated batter.

I baked it in Microwave oven with convection mode. It can be made in microwave mode in which it takes only 5-7 minutes at normal heat but texture will be slightly different.

Hi. Do not fry it on high flame. Chaklis need to be made on medium temperature so that they cook slowly and evenly. High temperature will result in fast cooking with golden brown outside but undone from inside .

If Chaklis are undone inside, becomes soggy when cool down. Properly cooked Chaklis becomes more crispy when cool down. Hope I have answered your quiry properly.
