If you like Descent, then for the most current experience, I'd suggest Descent Legends of the Dark, it's the most current and in my opinion, most fun version.

Not sure why you say that... step 4, out of 5, in the rules, is draw... not step 1... what am I missing?

Or are you saying you would prefer to draw first, not at the end of your turn?

Great question... which could have easily been avoided had the rules said "Gorram: If a Mission with Gorram is completed successfully this turn, the active player must choose to "Keep Flyin'" in Step 4 - Lay Low or Keep Flyin'" in the keywords section for the missions. If the Gorram mission fails, you do not have to choose to keep flyin', so in your case, you could either Book out of the turn or choose to end on your own, not having successfully completed the missions. If you had completed a Gorram mission though, then yes, it would override Book's ability to end the turn, however, you could still use Book's ability to capture all the victory points in the "at risk" score pool, however you'd still have to keep flying. I never noticed that the rules just said that Gorram missions should force you to keep flying when "completed" and not "successfully completed" but that was the intent. Hope that helps!

Fabulous question, which has amazingly never been asked before... but no, since drawing a card is part of Step 2: Get A Mission the check for a Team Bonus has already happened in Step 1 - Get a Crew, so it wouldn't be applied. IF this game is ever revisited/reprinted, that is a shift I would make though, as I think as the designer, that would be a good improvement.

It's been some time since I played the digital version, but I believe the left number is the number of cards you upgraded to 3 sections (so it has a top, middle, and bottom section filled on one card) on and the right number is the number of vales you acquired in the game.
