Women were subjugated in many ways...it was white mens values...or should I say DE-values. Most women and their kids lived one man away from welfare.

Wow, her entire persona grips your attention, as if she is thinking those lyrics for the first time! ❤ What a talent, those that possess such gifts... their lights shine so bright... Thankful we have Stacy who shared her experience, we can see how frail Judy is.

It always feels like she gives you a part of her soul when she sings a song. Perfect phrasing, dynamics, technique. I love watching her live performances.

This Lady is the Godmother of Punk. Voice, emotion, & artistry in a raw form performers today can't emulate with their twerking and electronic phoniness.

Must have been a more up-tempo version for this number than the version here. Just the shadow on Judy's face from the clown on the left should have led to cutting the take quite early-on and then a change in lighting or choreography.

Both were my favorite singers and actresses. I wish there’s Closed Captions so I can understand what they’re saying. Of course I’m Deaf. 🧏🏼♀️ I can read lips but sometimes it’s can be confusing and misunderstanding.

Mesmerizing, soulful, poignant, and absolutely magical. I love the moment before she starts singing where she contemplates what she just said and punctuates it with a "hmmm" - clearly she's lived through enough for those words to mean something to her. At this point in the series, it was more or less dead thanks to the callousness of CBS network executives. I love how she digs at them as she launches "Maybe I'll Come Back" with "Don't forget next week...old undependable Judy will be back"....No other performer has ever touched me like Miss Garland and no one ever will.
