I tried propagating new cuttings. I missed the part where we need the cuttings to get calloused. I directly planted them. The cuttings grew new leaves also, but it's shedding older leaves now. It's been over 2 weeks I planted them. Let's see how it goes.

Hello, thanks for sharing the video. The leafs of my rubber plants are very small, not that big as yours, do you know why?

Question: If the stem that broke off has a few roots on it, can I just stick straight in soil or must I still dry it out to form a callous? Thanks to anyone who answers ❤

Hi...You need to let the cut end of the succulent stem cutting (even if has roots) callus before planting to prevent rot.
@aaronucsd3 ай бұрын
I did the same thing. I hope it doesn’t rot. I broke off a piece that was growing off the patent tree. Do you have to make a clean cut on the root before putting it in water?

Hello, thanks for the video. I put aglaonema in water in march and it hasn’t roots, but has new growing leaves. Could you tell me why it hasn’t roots? It has root spots, but they were on the stem from the beginning, they have grown a little.

I have a 3 year old daughter in the house, this plant is poisonous?
@smallthingswithmoumita94445 ай бұрын
These plants are not safe for kids and pets. Poisoning can occur if you eat or are exposed to leaves, stalk and roots of the plant. They should be kept out of reach of the kids.

Can leaf propagate? One mature leaf fell down so, I put the leaf on the bowl full of water.
@smallthingswithmoumita94446 ай бұрын
Hi, as I mentioned in this video a single leaf without any node will grow roots but it will not transform into a plant.
@padminicoffee53396 ай бұрын
Oh thankyou!!! So then what will it transform into, it will remain like this only, then should I grow its root or not?
@JustDeLuca4 ай бұрын
@padminicoffee5339 It will just stay exactly as it is, but with roots. They are called Vampire leaves, because they are alive but not really, as they won't grow anymore.

such a helpful video! my dieffenbachia is looking a bit sad these days so i'm hoping this method will save some of it :) my plant has veeery long stems, it's quite unusual looking according to my mom at least. do you have any tips on possibly propagating the lower part of the stem as well?
@smallthingswithmoumita94446 ай бұрын
Hi...yes, you can propagate the bare stem. Slice the stem into small pieces ( each cutting should have 3 to 4 nodes ). Now you can propagate them in water or soil like the tip cutting ( keep track of top and bottom part of each piece).

I was so worried. Being a beginner, I propagated just the leaf and thought it needed the stem and node bc some other plants won’t root with just the leaf and stem lol so thank you 😊
