This is a great video for those wanting to learn how a family business can be centered around Christ and how others can build businesses to help seek the Lost for Jesus. Thank you for sharing! My prayer is that the Herschend family to step out in faith and add scriptures to their merchandise bags like In-n-Out Burger has done and to see what the Lord will do with it. I'm still praying that this happens. 🙏🏻 Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart"

Love Michael Card’s songs. They are not the modern ‘diddy bop’ silly songs.

I love how Mr Card teaches. His music definitely helped me become a Christian many years ago! The answer to mystery I think is.. Jesus says Amen amen before he speaks because he has heard from God the Father. Jesus is in agreement with what God told him to say on the matter. Also be careful learning from Judaism. Just be careful. Any religion that doesn’t give Jesus all ultimate authority is dangerous.

I love Michael Card's music. I first heard him singing El Shaddai on the "Rock Gospel show" hosted in the UK by Sheila Walsh in the late 1980's. I played the tape, 'Jesus let us come to know you' in 1989 and 1998 at funerals of my two baby sons. God has used his music to encourage, teach and inspire me throughout my Christian life. For this I thank God. I've only been to one 'concert' of Michael's, many years ago when he was touring England with Scott. Roley. I've heard he may be touring the UK in 2023. I would love to be able to go and personally thank him.

When you see your baby boys in Heaven, your rapturous joy will be His delight. Thank you for posting about your peace in the midst of an unbearable loss. I met Michael Card after a small show in the mid-90s. Nice guy (bloke) for sure. I suspect he's heard stories that are similar to yours, but I'm sure he'd love to hear yours too. Maybe there is a way to contact him? You should. I prayed for you after reading you comment. God treasures you.

I love you, Brother. Thank you for shedding light everywhere you preach and for always being about Jesus. Jesus is lost in all the hustle and bustle of the church. “Find your first love”, He commands in Revelation. My search has ended and just beginning. May grace be with you also.

I know.... So blessed to have him in my time. I am trying to be like him too.. He is a banjo, i am much lesser than him. A theological student, and a noop singer songwriter from Nagaland (India).

I was just talking about this today! He is able to put depth in his songs that can't be achieved without hours and literal years of study. His songs won't become "unpopular" and fade away like so many others.

To “Bank” on that power is one thing. Banking in the church is another. Jesus said “my house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers”. Proverbs 22:7 - The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 - Abstain from all appearance of evil. Microfinance has been gaining a terrible reputation and should not be conducted in the church, “a house of prayer” From worldfinance.com www.worldfinance.com/special-reports/why-the-microfinance-model-wont-solve-the-global-poverty-crisis “Over the years, a series of controversial events have given microfinance a reputation for unscrupulousness.” “A new trend thus emerged in the world of microfinance, which saw groups using the platform not just to help others, but to also turn a profit.” “Even Yunus himself, the father of microfinance, has not been shielded from criticism. At the tail end of 2010, the Bangladeshi Government launched a high-level investigation into Grameen Bank. In addition to accusing Yunus of evading taxes, Sheikh Hasina, the Bangladeshi prime minister at the time, condemned MFIs for “sucking blood from the poor in the name of poverty alleviation”.

I give thanks to God, (at least every week) for the ministry you labored in. May He continue to use you with your gifts, passion and intellect in the next chapter of you life. Keep going Lynne! "Straitly" "straightway" used in KJV. And, "straight is the way that leads to life". Also, in the book of Isaiah 42:16 kjv : And I will bring the blind by a way they knew not; I will lead them in paths they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. Also, Jesus said in Luke 12:49-50 : I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straightened till it be accomplished!

Non-existence is the best option. Does anyone really want to live for an eternity, even if it's blissful? There's a chance it wont be blissful or at least not for everyone in which case it would be better for there to be nothing at all bc at least that means no suffering anymore.
