My brother from another mother maybe? Sweet choice of songs!!! I'm curious if you might be able to compare the 80s tribute bridge pickup to a Duncan JB. Big difference or pretty similar?
@EJBGuitarКүн бұрын
Kinda similar but I’d say a bit hotter.
@markjohnson64853 күн бұрын
I bought one 5 days ago and I love it simple expressive and easy to play really like the 10 level on the tone is the pickup only and then 9-0 you have tone control in action neck is right up my alley and the Faber bridge is not just your average wrap around bridge as this one can intonate well very good quality always wanted a Gibson but this will do nicely

good sustain and low action ? it would be good to compare it vs a Luke too

@EJBGuitar5 күн бұрын
That is from the Kemper ADA MP1 profile pack from Big Hairy Profiles…specifically the “Adamp V2 D Wags” profile.

@@EJBGuitar Do you know how the tone was made if it could be translated to pedals and other amp settings?

@ no, it’s just one of the many profiles in that pack of the ADA MP1 preamp.

As one who will change pickups in a hot minute, I think these pups are outstanding. They sound better than pups that came stock in a number of American made Gibsons I've owned and played. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's my rule.

Hi, great demo! What do you think of the pickup and output level? Are we talking vintage or more J Mascis-style pickups? Thanks
@EJBGuitar13 күн бұрын
Pretty average output really. It’s been so long since I’ve even heard the J. Mascis pickups to be honest. They seem a tad bit hotter than “vintage”…but not HOT.

Hey Boss. I really want one of these and like how the look more than a Dellinger. My issue is I have been a 100% 25.5 player all my life. Will In otoce a difference in the scale change since it has 27 frets?
@EJBGuitar17 күн бұрын
Probably depends on how sensitive you are to stuff like that…didn’t bother me, but I can bounce back and forth between scale lengths, fat necks & wizard necks, etc. without issues. I’d put hands on one first if I was worried about it, or at least get one from somewhere with a good return policy.

I just saw this I got a red one with the floyd and maple neck, it was around 400 bucks from american musical supply I get stuff from them all the time and make monthly payments, when I got mine a couple days after I ordered i, when I got it I had to set it up I found 2 frets that needed leveled, I called the service rep. he took 35 bucks off my monthly payment, so with all that being said its not bad for what it is I have several wolfgangs but ive been picking the striker up lately ,anyway cool video, stay safe

Hi...could I ask if you had any major tuning issues before you fitted the bricksbiggsfix? I've just purchased the same guitar it's got to be the worst guitar I've ever had for tuning stability which is a shame because it feels looks and sounds great. I'm thinking of fitting a hardtail it's that bad. Kind Regards Steve.
@EJBGuitarАй бұрын
Mine didn’t seem any worse than any other Bigsby guitar, but they usually aren’t great for tuning stability…the BBF would help as would a GraphTech bridge with their saddles which I do also for Bigsby guitars. Also check how tight the screws are that bolt the Bigsby too the guitar…the arm should drop easily (without strings on) when you lift it up and let go…if it doesn’t loosen the screws slightly until it does. Any binding will hurt tuning as well.
@steveshaw5773Ай бұрын
@@EJBGuitar That's much appreciated. I've only got to fart near mine and it goes out of tune never mind when I touch the wiggle stick🤦♂️ I'm going to mod it with an old g stamp tailpiece I've had around for years...change the tuners like you did and hope for the best🙏Thanks again for the reply and advice. Kind Regards Steve.

Thanks for the video! 🤘 I've struggled with liking Strats and Teles and I'm not a fan of trem systems, but I do enjoy some occasional single coil snappiness. great videos, another question is this neck similar to the GG charvel MJ?
@EJBGuitarАй бұрын
The GG is 24 frets and .820” at the 1st and about .880” at the 12th where the NJ is 22 frets, fairly similar at the 1st but a little thinner at the 12th at .865” Also, the GG is a compound radius and the NJ is straight 14”…if that matters to you. IMO the NJ is the more comfortable neck, but some of that is due to the Wenge neck. Both necks are very comfortable though.

quality wise is this better than USA charvel?
