It's not super powerful, but it does the job, eventually 😁. Maybe I need a sharper chain.

Great video. I do still love my Find X5 Pro, but my main issues are: - Battery life has definitely tanked. Super fast charging makes up for it and I'm never without a power bank but I'm lucky to get past 3/4pm now - My microphone cuts off in a lot of phone calls, where I can still hear the other person but they can no longer hear me.
@KamilsTechTips23 күн бұрын
Hey. I don't think I had microphone issues, but the battery is quite bad. My mum has this phone now and says it's ok, but I guess it does not matter for her too much. On my Vivo 100X Pro I restricted a few apps that were draining energy in the background and now the battery life is amazing. I wonder if you can find the stats in FindX 5 Pro to show you which app is guilty.

I hate them after initially really liking them. They go on and off on their own. The buttons work 70 percent of the time to turn on and off. Constant resets. Hard resets. Factory resets. Bose is sending out a replacement pair. It will take a fuhkinh month to get them. Funny, i can buy them new and have them at my fuhking house tomorrow!
@KamilsTechTipsАй бұрын
So you had it worse than me. I had occasional trouble and mostly ok. I was disappointed with the phone call quality - the other person could hear me, but not very well. They took far too long to turn on and connect.

How big batteries will fit under the plastic cover on this new one? Will the new 8Ah battery fit?

I doubt it. The standard 4 and 5Ah seems to be max. But if you keep the cover open, sky's the limit ;-)

Great video, thank you for uploading! I mostly use the old vacuum for quick car cleaning (I have a corded shop vac for more intensive deep cleaning) and was looking to upgrade to something new. I wanted a comparison video and just happened to find your channel. The new vacuum seems to address my dislikes about the old version: 1) hose length, 2) accessory storage - lost/dropped accessories all the time, and 3) the lip inside the vacuum chamber that made it slighlty difficult to dump contents. I appreciate you detailing the differences and have subscribed to show my support! Thanks again!

Hey. This is one of the most detailed comments I have ever received. May god bless you! I have not noticed the lip you mention - maybe I have not used it enough. I'll have a look in the new one next time I do it. I don't have the old one anymore. And yes, it is totally worth the upgrade if you can afford it. Many thanks Kamil

Yes. I still have issues with the track pad - sometimes it's unusable, and often very difficult to use, so a mouse is the only option. Maybe they fixed it in the new version - I don't know. Everything else is fine if you are ok with the atrocious webcam.

In the USA, high energy batteries are called high performance, and the two pins at the back are suppose to draw more power to one +HP tools with two pins where the battery should be inserted. They only just add more torque, and yeah, more performance. It also makes the tool more efficient the more high the Ah is.
@KamilsTechTips3 ай бұрын
Maybe it's not like that. We have here in the UK HP batteries, and then very special High Energy batteries: 4Ah and 9Ah only. The HP batteries also have extra 2 connectors. Although, I do find all those differences annoying. Ryobi should be more upfront about the differences and exact specs.

How to put the oil on the saw?
@KamilsTechTips3 ай бұрын
You are not supposed to, but you can just by pouring it directly onto the chain, as far as I know.
@hgodtx3 ай бұрын
The Ryobi pole saw included a large oil tank and automatic oiling. So for this model, you'll have to get a bottle of oil that is convenient for your hand with a needle nose spout to squeeze oil directly on the bar.
@KamilsTechTips3 ай бұрын
Yeah, that is a good idea.
@kle22173 ай бұрын
The description for these says "Oil-Free" design. Yet, most mentioned it does need oil. Why is that? Do you have to use specifically a Bar Oil, or can I use any oil like 3in1 oil? Are there any other types of maintenance required for this? thx
@KamilsTechTips3 ай бұрын
There is no place for oil in this saw, so I'm guessing the user needs to decide if oil is needed and pour a bit onto the chain as required. I guess any oil is better than none. I have not used it with oil yet, but I have not used it much anyway.

The number of tëëth makes a big difference. Try a 24 or 18 tøøth framing blade and it will cut through the same wood using half the power. And, as far as my experience goes, the chipping is not much worse. Also, the kerf of the blade is also important. I use a 1,6mm thin kerf 40-tøøth blade and it needs approx. the same power as a 24-tøøth blade with 2mm kerf.
@KamilsTechTips4 ай бұрын
I see. That is a big power difference. Maybe I'll switch to Ryobi 24 tooth blade for some of the jobs. My Makita blade has a kerf of 1.5mm, and Echo Corner 1.6mm. Thanks for the info above - it really throws a different perspective on the whole thing.
