I really resonated with the point you made about separation. Looking at others differently and thinking they're not living a full life when in reality it was me who wasn't living a full life. That can be a lot to realize but having that realization can be so meaningful and it has been for me. Thank you for putting into words a lot of what I've been feeling in my deconstruction process!

I love your video, but I just could not stand the first music in the background. It reminds me of church worship music and I hate worship music so much. It's like a creep trying to manipulate me so it can touch me in ways I don't want to be touched. It's the sound of an invisible entity that's forcing me to be weak and vulnerable so I can give myself to it for its own benefits. It disgusts me.

Great video. However, I think the Concept of ''born'' as a sinner needs to be explained. Hell does exist and Heaven does exist. I predict this video will be re-mastered. In the scientific world (biologically), whatever our parents did 4 generations ago transfered to us. As the bible says, and it is true, the actions of our great grand parents will affect us today. So, if that can be done in physical biological ways, why can't it be the same for spiritual world? Think about it. The Spiritual always dictates the Physical world. I think you NEVER understood the teaching of Christ's teachings. The bible talked about love and love for everyone. So, if as a Christian you did not love people, what kind of Christian you were? LoL. That does not make sense.

I just watched your first video about deconstruction and left a rather long reply. Glad to hear everything is going well. When I was in College I studied religion and rather enjoyed it. Now you say that their could only be 2 types of God-1 who chooses to intervene is different areas and another who created life and left his creation to find for itself-also called Pandeism. Firstly, it’s up to us to be Jesus’ hands and feet here on Earth. So In areas of suffering, war, genocide, etc. it is up to us as God’s elect to help where we can. Their are a lot of Christians like myself who are poor and have sent money to Organizations who claim to be ‘Christian’ only to take the money and run. It’s tough to find a trustworthy organization that’ll be able to make a difference. Another thing is being comfy. Which is a place most Christian’s are in is the area of self comfort. Instead of fighting for what is right and pushing forward we have gotten lazy to the point where we expect God to jump in and heal the situation when we can partner with a Ministry that has boots on the ground in the affected areas. Jesus can choose to jump in if He wants to but it should start with us Christians first-through prayer, funds (if you can afford it), or being their personally (which most people can’t do especially if it’s in another Nation). Like I said in your other video it is a bad idea to use feelings to make a decision on because it isn’t a firm ground to stand on. I hope everything goes well for you and your family. Have a good one.

I’m a 37 year old Evangelical Christian and I understand how you feel. I disagree completely with everything that you have stated because their’s nothing firm to stand on, it’s all emotional based and is not a positive way to make a stance/have a viewpoint because emotions change. I know this’ll probably fall on deaf ears but since Jesus gave His life for us, after living a sinless life, He can have it anyway He wants. He said ‘follow Me and live or don’t and go to Hell’ (I’m paraphrasing) nothing wrong with this and as Jesus says it’s only for those people who have heard and have rejected Him. I don’t know what happens to people who haven’t heard but this is between them and God and has nothing to do with us. I know many people who have deconstructed, I know many people who are atheists, other faiths, and of different backgrounds this doesn’t mean that we cannot be nice towards others, as long as we stay grounded in what God has told us to do and avoid, so for your last statement that is very weak as an argument. Lastly, Original Sin is a tough one because, like the rest, it is a highly emotional stance based off of wanting to protect your child’s image. I get that, however, God has made Himself perfectly clear where and how sin entered the world and affected us all. Your reasons are lacking. I struggled a lot myself with some of these feelings because of where I was in life. Emotions are a hard thing to get over but as adults we are told to control our emotions and trust in Jesus. God willing you’ll come back to Jesus, you already know what God says about this and your soul is more important than your feelings. Wake up, don’t let the devil take from you what frankly is the most important thing you have.

I only found your page now , but i did watch the one from a year ago. God does tell us that what the heart is full does come out from their mouth , but it doesn't give another human the right to after one video say they know you well . This said , i can't help thinking ,relating to your video a year ago, that satan told you a lie when you had it in your mind that to be a true follower of Christ , that you are a burden to others or your friends . For you to have had an urge and desire to tell others, friends or not, about Jesus , was the work of God in your heart and life , so that He could do what He created you to do . That desire that you had , was from Him , not yourself . And satan knew this and thats why he got that lie in your head . I dont know if doubt started before this thought in your life , but i can imagine that when one lie becomes a stronghold others wil follow . One can see there's many questions you have now , 365 days later , but even if there are , with God all things are possible, and what satan meant for evil God wil turn it around in your favour . Birds migrate, the wind blows , bees visits flowers , dead leaves fall on the soil . God has a plan and reason and time for everything. We all have a purpose in God , but i know some go through greater tests and trials and although we dont know where to or why , but if He can hold the earth, moon and Sun in there respective places giving us humans day and night, light and dark on time everytime, we can trust that He can hold you in His Mighty hand too . Jesus can still speak to each humans storms and calm them . He can still cause the wind to be still. And no matter how late or dark it is around us , even if we are in the middle of the ocean with no lights on the shore too see , when you keep your eyes on Jesus, you wil walk ontop off that which you think wil be your end . And if we get weak,or loose faith , or when i should say it happens ...just call out :"Jesus, help me !" . And immediately He wil grab you by the hand and pull you up to where you were . He doesnt change . He is humble and soft of heart full of mercy and grace God bless you May the peace and joy of the Lord Jesus Christ fill you ,amen and amen Come unto Me all you that labour and are heavy burdened and i wil give you rest - it is a promise feom the Lord ! As He told the disciples I see that satan tried to sift you - but know that the Lord prayed for them If satan tried to sift them , dont think he wont you Everything we as humans need is only found in Christ Jesus... He made us,died for us and Loves us more then we can ever imagine on this side

Yes. It can be to warn others . But maybe one should remember that it is actually to give other humans the "Good News!" . The gospel of Peace ! So they may find and have Peace of mind and joy in their hearts that although this life here is not always easy, but we have an eternal destination in heaven with a God who didn't only create us but Loves us so so much. Where we wil be with Him in His presence forever and be safe and be Loved with an everlasting Love ,and live ! Which means that we must get our focus and mind and heart right to one where it is not about "me" , but about Him,jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Maybe we do get too much "me" or "i" centered and we forget about Him,who everything is truly all about . He is the first and the last, the Alfa and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who was and is and is too come ! Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Son of the Living God andHe is God ! Outside of Him there is no life ! Outside of Him, there is no Life

Christianity is a religion, with rules and regulations and laws and doctrines that have nothing to do with the bible. Doctrines and dogmas have become more important than what the bible really says. It's a fear based system where there's no freedom, but only condemnation. Yes, I'm a christians, but don't go to mainstream churches anymore. All the teach are lies mixed in with a little truth. But God is still real and Jesus still lived to redeem mankind and God still wants us to be part of His family. But church as we know it, has little to do with God.

If this was the only life then the problem of intervention is a serious problem. It is clear biblically, though some Christians disagree, that we preexisted this life (ephesians 1:4, Jeremiah 1:5). There is a strong possibility that we all chose this life and each life serves a purpose...even hard lives. 70 years of life afterall is a drop in the bucket to eternity. I appreciate what your doing exposing the issue with religious doctrine.

1. Original sin: You entered this from a point of emotion. Second, The Orthodox Church doesn’t believe in original sin. You could’ve looked into them. 2. You were confused why non-Christians sometimes are better? Some Gentiles in the Old Testament followed their natural law better than the Israelites who literally had God on their side. This point makes 0 sense. Christians aren’t some moral super humans. 3. You think viewing ourselves as sinners is unhealthy? Dude it’s called being humble. Not acknowledging our sinful nature goes back to pre-Moses times which is the entire reason why God even brought the Law so that people realized their sin. You’re exalting yourself, and reading the Bible as much as you have, I’m sure you know the result of that compared to being humble instead. 4. Hell - To your variables argument, it doesn’t work. God speaks throughout the Old and New Testament about how he searches your heart, and how people were granted pardon for genuine ignorance. And at the end you again went to emotion. You’re arguing like a child, no offense. Adults work through logic, children work off of just emotion. 5. Separation - Again, YOU were the problem. If your vanity caused you to feel holier than thou and feel right, then that’s not God’s fault. Where does God ever teach arrogance? Yeah, nowhere. Second, people not accepting the truth and treating you different because of that is there problem not yours. People have their opinions that they feel right about in multiple other subjects (abortion, politics, sexual immorality, etc.) that keep them separate. Christianity wasn’t the issue. Confrontation and worrying about everyone liking you was your problem. Not one good argument. I understand the emotion, but you can’t let it overtake your logic.

@@RantJamzChristianEnlightenment No, you can’t do it emotion free. As humans we’re influenced by our emotions to an extent, and that even showed through the human nature of Jesus even when having a divine nature as well. That being said, I would say most people acknowledge they are influenced by emotions. But just because you are, doesn’t mean you naturally don’t have logical thinking at work as well. So with that being said when you have kids for example like this KZbinr has, and he started to abandon belief systems because of an admitted emotional discomfort of how your beliefs include things that affect your kids (friends, family, whoever else); then it’s usually wrong. For example, if I think it’s wrong for my kids to be classified a different gender because of their reasoning faculties not being developed enough, but then when I have a kid and change my mind because I see how it could hurt my kid’s feelings and confuse the kid, me changing my mind would make it a purely emotional decision. Instead in that situation I should’ve stuck to the more logical answer because in the long run it’ll damn my kids if I just use emotional reasoning.

@@Trentenjoel If you consider what I said ungraceful, then to each their own. I think it’s ungraceful to reason the way you have for thousands of other people to see and influence. Talking bluntly has its effectiveness. I wasn’t calling you names or cursing at you. Also anything I said I clarified with the reason I said it. If you think, for example, that me saying you are arguing like a child is rude, then I would implore you to look at why I didn’t actually call you a child, or whatever other names I could come up with. The reason being because I’m disputing the reasoning you used itself, not you as a person because I don’t know you. Therefore, if you put your reasoning on a video, and I react to the reasoning itself, then I feel it’s a fair critique. Children when arguing typically argue in a way that puts emotion over logic. You admittedly have gotten deep feelings of emotional turmoil when trying to reconcile some of these biblical principles while having kids of your own that they would then apply to. Therefore, this same emotion seemed to permeate throughout the rest of your reasoning. Your objections were never just a logical breakdown of particular doctrines or principles. It was the inability to emotionally reconcile things with your life. Therefore I remain with the critique that you came to this conclusion through child like reasoning. That being said, when I make some decisions in life like giving my wife attitude because she said something annoying; I MYSELF am reacting as a child would. I don’t exclude myself from this habit. So I don’t mean to offend you or single you out, but even in your response you didn’t actually react to any particular critique, just the one critiquing (me). You could justify it through saying you don’t want to entertain rude KZbin commenters, but your comment itself was implying a derogatory shot at Christians, which is typical of non-Christians and especially former-Christians. So you literally did the same thing. Only difference is, I expounded on my critique and clarified my reasoning. You just wanted to attempt to make me look like a supposed stereotypical Christian.

People who leave the idea of Christianity do it for these reasons. Mat 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This could also mean that the word they received was poluted before they got it by the one delivering it. One example would be the Jehovah’s Witnesses or mainstream Protestantism which is Trinitarian. Even when someone receives the Word in truth he may not last This is he which received seed by the way side. Mat 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it, Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Mat 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. James says this, James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Or they just love the filthy pleasures of the world. The sexual deviants claim something they don’t have.

Sounds like you are struggling with what the Buddhists would call "dukkha ", meaning specifically that you believe things should be different than they are, and a god/gods should always have direct beneficial actions towards humanity. But if a god ever did have THAT behavior, what trouble our kind would be for the rest of nature. We are all already too smart for our own good. We don't need to have some external force making our lives so cozy that we have no competition. If there was a god, I feel like that god would be defined by pure balance and less by doing favors for people. We aren't the only living thing here, and it's not all about us. THAT is my biggest contention with Christians. Mankind wanted to descend to the lower realms and carry their god nature with them at the same time. That is the source of dukkha/unsatisfactoriness. We have the minds to know things could be/should be like our native home world, but it just is not so here. We are all strangers in a strange land.

I think you are confused what love is. Your testimony isn’t very compelling. It sounds like you want an excuse to do poor behavior or something. Even if God didn’t exist why would it even matter? Why not just do good for goodness sake? You would rather do bad things? And if you don’t think you are doing bad things then that is between you and God not a church and you would be innocent. You don’t have to confess to a sin if you don’t think you are sinning. Jesus said to forgive them because they know not what they do. That is our grace right? So just keep doing your best. God doesn’t even have to exist to do that so why not just believe just in case? You have literally nothing to lose and everything to gain if it turns out being correct. That’s what hope is.

I believe you are missing the point here Melissa. I did not make this video and leave my faith to do "bad things" but rather to get rid of bad theology. Or rather theology that I see as unhealthy. I cannot recall a point in this video where I state i want to do bad things... so perhaps give this a rewatch? IDK I would say I try to live a life of love, it's the most fulfilling to me. I care deeply about others and want them to have happy and fulfilled lives as well. I also understand that my actions and words affect those around me, EVEN comments I leave on peoples videos. Therefore I am slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Because each human is having a completely different experience than the next. So who am I to judge who's testimony is compelling or not? Judge not lest ye be judged.... or something lol. Grace and peace,

This sort of fake enlightenment lacks rigor, to put it simply. To say that the way humanity does Christianity makes it untrue is beyond stupid. Humans screw things up constantly. God doesn’t. The things that should cause you to lose faith in humanity have somehow achieved the opposite in your sin-addled brain. Christ had no faith in humanity. He loved us and is faithful toward us. The better and more true something is, the more sinful humans will twist it and make a caricature of it. That is not the fault of Christ. He came to save us from foolish thinking, not to promote humanism.

What's wrong with leaving christianity? Everyone should do it! That way, all that would be left is authentic believers.

A lot of people are leaving religion in droves. We have evolved and have realized that religion no longer serves the function it served when humans were consumed by the dark ages. There is no way there can realistically be a god, heaven, hell, devil, angels, or Holy Spirit in a natural world where gravity rules and cause and effect guides us from cradle to the grave. There is nothing supernatural about this world or our lives. We evolved through a long journey from one species to the next and have had to learn how to be moral and create our own sense of safety and security. There is no god involved. If so, that god must be utterly sadistic and cruel. If there is a god and it allowed the holocaust, slavery, natural disasters, genocide, world wars, assassinations, floods, meteor strikes, and pure human evil to exist without intervention, why would anyone in their right mind want to worship something like that? The world existed hundreds of millions of years before humans ever stepped foot on the planet. What was the purpose of the world then? Did god send the dinosaurs to hell because they sinned? This world doesn't make sense and believing in a god that cares about anything or anybody makes it worse.

PROOF FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD: You walk into a room to get a drink of water, as you approach the fountain you pass a pool table and notice the balls are scattered around the table’s surface. You get the drink. As you turn to leave you notice the balls are now in the familiar racked triangular pattern, in order, and facing forward. What do you think? “Why did the balls move themselves like this? No. Pool balls are inert, lifeless, they cannot think or move themselves. For an inert element to move, a force external to it must exert itself against it to cause it to move. For this external force to move inert elements into patterns it must know how to 'manipulate', and know what a pattern is. There would have to be a consciousness (thought process) in the external force that manipulated the pool balls into this pattern, a thinking power moved them. This is the foundational question to our existence: How can inert lifeless matter demonstrate intentional goal oriented behavior randomly? The answer is obviously it cannot. The inert lifeless atom is the building block of the physical universe that is moving in patterns and systems that are not just predictable and repeating (planetary orbits), but remain within the narrow parameters of this one universal order model. This requires there to be an external force manipulating these atoms, one that possesses a consciousness. A thinking power is controlling the atoms of the universe-God. Because this power is coming from a place we cannot measure or see, and because it must exist for the atoms to be behaving in this way, we have to now conclude that there is an invisible or spiritual dimension to the reality of our existence. It is not inaccurate to refer to this dimension as spiritual due to the fact that it possesses a consciousness, and the ability to project power. John 4:24: "God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.". Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created heaven and the earth." Hebrews 11:3: "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen are not made of things that do appear." The table is made of something that does not appear so it is made of something invisible, or too small to see. If invisible the table would be invisible, it is not. We know it is too small to see-atoms. The Bible has been teaching us about atoms for 2000 years, they are too small to appear. Genesis 2:7: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground (atoms),,and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit), and man became a living soul.” This is why a person can think (consciousness) within their inert atom-made body, and have the ability to manipulate inert elements into patterns (build things). The body isn’t thinking. 1 Corinthians 3:16: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you?". Ecclesiastes 3:21: “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upwards, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?" Genesis: 6:17 "And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die." James 2:26: "For the body without the spirit is dead." The creatures of the world also have a spirit so they can think from within their inert atom-made bodies and manipulate inert elements into patterns (dens, nests). The spirit moves the body like the hand moves the glove. The whole of life on this planet, in the physical realm, is expressed in physical forms made of inert atoms that cannot think for themselves so they must be inhabited by a spirit of life to be active (alive). The fact that they 'grow' shows the hand of God at work. Growing is increasing mass and duplicating physical form and internal processes, not possible for inert lifeless material to do. Even plants have circulatory systems within them, movements that they, being composed by inert atoms, cannot muster themselves. Their roots bring up water from the soil, and their leaves produce carbohydrates through photosynthesis, using the sun for their sustenance. This entire ecosystem is a demonstration of God's omniscient power in action, as is the whole universe. Ephesians 4:6: "One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." But the time will come when the old earth will be destroyed to make way for the new, it is called the "Day of the Lord."
