If you look at some truly successful people, and I don't just mean famous people...
I mean those who have lasted success and integrity. They seem to posses this one skillset.
Patience.
As I have focused on being more patient this year I am already feeling more peace, joy, and fulfillment in my life.
I am recognizing that I don't need the wins right now.
Rather I would rather focus my effort in laying solid groundwork for my endeavors, know the results will come later.

Hi Trent! I just saw your video on why you left Christianity and I'd like to share a few things with you. Firstly, I apologize for how tough you said life was when you were a Christian, and for any questions that should have been answered by other Christians but weren't. Sadly, churches and pastors don't always get the message right, and this can leave people with dilemmas, which can be answered, left unanswered. Trent, I'd like to answer your objections to Christianity, and if it's alright with you, I would love to know what you think. I know you said you're passionate about this topic 🙂 In Christianity, a better way of understanding original sin is with the fact that people have a natural tendency to do what they know they shouldn't do. Cliffe Knechtle, a Christian on KZbin, explains that one day when he was young, he was playing in the sandbox with another child, and without being aggravated he decided to hit the other child with his toy. This leaning towards doing bad is a good way to think of original sin. God knew that if He created humans, they would not freely choose good every single time, so He did the best possible thing and prevented Adam and Eve from even knowing what evil was. Unfortunately they decided to know evil, and thus this "trait" has been passed down to every person in a similar way that physical traits are passed down from parents to their child. The problem of original sin isn't really with children, who are innocent, but with adults. Jim Woodford and Ivan Tuttle are two people with reliable afterlife experiences, because they didn't believe in Christianity when they died. Their stories (and other ones) confirm that God ensures that every single child that passes away is in Heaven. Rather, the main problem with original sin is when adults, who know what is right, choose to negatively affect another's person's life, for fame, money, sex, power, etc, or because they had a bad day and want to take it out on someone. You also mentioned that when you were Christian, you knew people who were good but not Christian. I can relate. When I was in high school, (I'm 26 now) I noticed something similar among my peers. I think that Heaven can be better understood as God's house; a person needs a relationship with the Owner in order to enter. Remember, in Christianity, God is personal and wants a relationship with us, just like we want relationships with other people. In your video, you shared a thoughtful point about wanting freedom to love people instead of always wanting them to be saved. A Christian man in India by the name of Yesupadam decided to show love to people who knew him and wanted to kill him. At one point they threw a rock at his head, which hit him and drew blood, but thankfully they decided to leave him alive and they left. A few days later they came back to him, wanting to accept Christ, specifically because they were amazed at his love despite their ill intention. The only thing Yesupadam did was show love 🙂 There's so much more I could say but I think that's long enough 😅 Trent, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out, and please let me know your thoughts!
