for someone with small hands, that second chord with the thumb over the 3rd fret is impossible
@Wolverich3 жыл бұрын
The chord is 3-3-5-2-3-2. When strummed correctly with all strings clear and ringing, the sound of this chord illuminates the soul. The top 3's are both played with the thumb and the rest of the chord is a stretch with the remaining fingers. I would suggest to put a capo across the 2nd fret, tune up then figure out how to play this chord. If you're anything like me, this one chord will be plenty enough satisfaction to play. All the best!
@Wolverich3 жыл бұрын
This is actually the chord that is sustained after the intro, leading into the verse. I play it with the intro just because it sounds good, but it's not how it's typically played.

@@HTNT9 You are welcome! It's the chord at 0:24
@Wolverich3 жыл бұрын
I apologize, the chord is actually 3-3-5-2-3-3. I just tried it with a capo and it's impossible. I don't think there's any way around playing that chord. I use my thumb to play 3-3 (on D-A), pinky to play 5 (on D), index finger to play 2 (on G) and middle finger to play 3-3 (on B-E)
