This is great advice. My dad and I did it four years ago as a father son trip & it was worth every penny. Few tips for others : Fly in the day before you’re staying on resort, and stay in a cheap hotel close to the resort the night before, so you can wake up and get there around 7am, ( it’s West Coast, ) just enjoy the morning walking around looking at the facility. You will spend $500 on merch. Accept it. Balls, hats, shirts, drinking glasses… you’re going to wish you budgeted more. Have fun everyone. Good luck

My Skins guys and wives did 2 trips at Pebble Beach. Yes it is big bucks, but it was incredible. We played Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay, Monterey Peninsula, and 5 rounds at Pebble for the 2 trips. Worth every cent.

The reason that this video has so few reviews after 4 years is that most people can't relate to spending that much $$ on a golf weekend when they have a million other choices to spend their hard-earned $ on. Things like rent/mortgage, car payment(s), kids' education, medical bills and the like. My family and I made well over in the 6 figures last year and while I love watching golf and playing courses near my residence, I'm here to say that I'll take a hard pass on this edifice to luxury and free spending. Golf well, friends, and hit 'em straight.

Perhaps the most under-appreciated shot combination of his career is when he was to the right of #11 at Augusta National in his 2019 Masters final round. As he stood there contemplating a very difficult shot into the 11th green from right of the trees, he surveyed Koepka coming up short and going in the water at #12. He said in an interview, 'I took note of that, and thought to myself, I know his ball flight is a bit stronger than mine and make an adjustment'. He did this BEFORE hitting his approach to #11, he parred #11, then the famous #12 by hitting it in the middle of the green over the bunker, and the rest is history.

The fact that you both carried the water and were in perfect position to get up and down actually makes me feel like this shot was less impressive than I thought it was.

I want to travel from Australia to America in September or October this year with my dad to play Pebble Beach, Sawgrass, Bay Hill, and a few others in California or Florida, maybe PGA National, PGA West, Doral, etc. Its already a little expensive flying from Australia so its disappointing Pebble Beach has now made it very difficult for normal people to play. When I contacted Pebble Beach by email yesterday they said its a MINIMUM THREE night stay in one of their hotels to get a tee time (3K USD). There is also the option of staying in the area and calling the day before to see if they have any tee times, but when you are already spending thousands of dollars on just the airfares from Australia, its disappointing Pebble Beach make it so unreasonable to play there. It does not seem like a public course, its more a public course only for the rich. I dont play these days much because of back issues, but when I did play regularly years ago I was off a scratch handicap, so Pebble Beach dont even care about good golfers playing there, its only the rich they want. Very sad. Sawgrass and other top courses in America seem easier to play and way less expensive. They should just change to a fully private course and get it over and done with.

Well done sir. I first heard about the trail at the Vancouver golf show in the late 90's. Through work I've been in Alabama since early 2000's. The Trail is the best golf deal in the USA or Canada especially with a resident trail card. Courses like Silver Lakes from $45.00 to Ross Bridge for around $90.00. World class golf courses at Dollar General prices. Fantastic!!!
