I started playing Guitar Hero again. In my younger years, I was a pretty big fan of it. Not so much the first Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero II, but Guitar Hero III, World Tour, Guitar Hero Metallica and Warriors of Rock. For some reason, I didn't like Guitar Hero 5. I did like Guitar Hero Rocks The 80s. Aerosmith was okay. I mean, Aerosmith isn't my favorite band but some of their songs were pretty catchy. I can't say I liked Guitar Hero Live though. It was...not Guitar Hero at all. Or rather, not the Guitar Hero we played. I would hope that if the series gets a revival, it goes back to its roots. Like what Harmonix did with Rock Band 4. I even liked DJ Hero and the seauel.

Guitar hero 3 legends of rock has a ps2 port as well that had characters on there you couldn’t get on ps3 like metal head, the grim reaper and a few others that were really cool

This video is technically true when it comes to official games, but there are fan-made games. Here are the fan-made games, in order of video appearance: Anime Hero (3:13) -Appears to be based off either Guitar Hero 1 or 2. Guitar God (5:00) -Is based off Guitar Hero 2. Guitar Hero Iron Maiden (7:12) -Probably inspired by the ACTUAL Guitar Hero band games (Aerosmith, Metallica, & Van Halen are the official ones.), and it seems to be either based of Guitar Hero 1 or 2. Guitar Hero BRAZUCAS (9:05) -Seems to be based of Guitar Hero 3, but the notes you hit looks like they’ve been altered. Clone Hero (11:27) -Based off Warriors of Rock, except it’s only custom songs -Open notes can be put into guitar charts much more easily
