When asking why doesn't everyone have one already, you forgot the "cultural" aspect and general resistance to change / reactance. My wife didn't want to use anything else than gas until I bought a tabletop induction cooker and put it on top of it, then showed her that it was - 1 faster - 2 stops heating instantly (same as gaz, no long inertia as other electric method) Also it apparently become woke to not use gas... 🙄 Anyway excellent video, thanks for the very clear explanation.

Borax is a bit on the alkaline side and can cause a chemical burn just the same as acids can.

Not sure why you would want to make LOX, its pretty cheap and available at any LWS with a days notice. They have to fill them so its not usually a same day thing unless they are slow. We get it all the time when we have a lot of cutting to do. Only problem with LOX is it boils off so for it to make financial sense over compressed O2 you have to be able to use it within a week or two at most. If you have a couple guys cutting all week it certainly makes sense. However getting of a LOX on a Friday afternoon (assuming no one is working over the weekend) is such a waste, especially in the summer. I've seen more then a quarter of it boil off over the weekend when its 95 degrees outside and its sitting in the sun. Best bet is to call it in on Friday afternoon for Monday morning delivery, that way the losses are minimal.

My Elegoo 3D printer setup is composed of 3 parts. The first, of course, is the printer itself. Attached to the printer is an air purifier that I vent to the outside of my hobby room. The last is an automated integrated washer/UV curing unit. Once you get the hang of using it, it is pretty much "hit the button and walk away" process.

will more dye help? during crystallisation it's assumed, that only pure substance crystallize. Use copper sulfate instead. or create copper-borax first.

A nice video, but your measured solution wasn’t super saturated. At 157 grams per 400 ml, it was close to saturation, but not supersaturated. While cooling, it reached saturation, and if the borax failed to nucleate on the pipe cleaner, then, and only then, could it be considered super saturated. Once nucleation of crystals began, the crystals grow from a saturated solution.

Why am I here? Serious research of course! My weirdo family and I want to make gag t shirts and want to figure out how to make a normal t shirt create pit stains when the person wears it. 😂 Yeah… we’re that kind of people. Edit: I think we may have landed in the right place. Any suggestions on how to proceed with our life changing project which will feed the hungry and bring world peace?
