I felt this Video and Veritasium by Derek are inevitable to understand water potential of high trees over than 10m. Very nice presentation, Bravo!

Science is awesome. Nature uses capillary action in ways that still aren't fully understood.

Other than semi permeable membranes, capillary action is I think my absolute favorite subject from my bio classes. I can still hear my professors voice in my head repeating the phrase the cohesive tendencies of water and how amazing and fascinating it is to see how wonderfully intricate God has created the universe and specifically our Little world to be. We are truly fearfully and wonderfully made! It is a never-ending source of worship fascination learning and just cool, to learn about science! Wonderful video definitely hit on one of my favorite subjects! Great explanation by the way

Um....what?! 🤯 That is so cool!! It would never have occurred to me that tree's "shouldn't work"!! Thank you for this video!!

Many students have ADHD. The video would be friendly to all if it is less than 2 minutes.

I was curious how those tubes respond in a vacuum. Google didn’t disappoint! 😀 Very cool topic!

anyone ask themselves whether water boiling out of a tube due to capillary action could turn a electrical generator turbine or does that make too much sense? I'd welcome someone telling me why this is wouldn't work.
