Man the nostalgia. I remember playing this a ton with my friend back in elementary school. We'd take turns on the swamp track with the blue truck cause we thought it was the best lol. What I would do to relive those days again. Nothing but great memories.

Never had the full version, but I had multiple demo discs from various cereal boxes at the time... each one was a single full level. It drove me wild wondering what planet hotwheels was, as a child. I wanted to play it so bad, and the full version of this, but never found either until I was an adult.

When I was little, I fed the cat for hours and wondered why it never got fat 😂

I miss this computer game and by the way, my favourite part of this game is finding Rosita's friend's lost twins.

One thing I've always wondered about these games is how they worked. Like, you're not actually racing in a 3D environment, right? It looks more like a pre-rendered movie that your car is layered on top of. Yet, if that's the case, I wonder how your car's stats like speed, turning, etc. play into it. Is going faster like speeding up the movie? I'd also love to see a "technical" view of a course, like remove the background movie and show how/where your car is supposed to turn, what that actually means on a mechanical level, etc.

I had the first game for years. I remember seeing this one as a kid but I never owned it. Going to download it today.

Found my old CD of this game and loaded it into a VM to play it again. Problem is, mouse sensitivity is *extreme* Like, I just barely move the mouse and the cursor jumps across the entire screen. I literally cannot select any cars because it's like my cursor is on a "grid" and jumps like a tenth of the screen each micromovement. Any help on how to fix that?
