Been using this podcast to establish my bona fides as a centrist who abandoned the Democratic Party in 2024 all week. Thanks ladies, let’s tuck in to hear your thoughts.

There were some red stars that voted for Trump *and* protecting reproductive rights for women. It seems that voting for DJT wasn’t understood as automatically a vote to restrict access to abortion.

It disgusts me that this young pregnant woman was treated as an untouchable because of laws brought forth by the administration, when she could have been admitted. Complicated pregnancies are treated in hospitals every day, at least in places with logical laws. I don’t understand how voters (and Trump as well as other lawmakers) cannot comprehend that blood is on their hands, that they would vote him back into office after they saw what he did. Furthermore, I am mad at the DOJ for giving preferential treatment to Trump. It shouldn’t be the job of the electorate to play judge and jury. The people deserve a worthy candidate to vote for.

Amazing how your drive to find women who die due to your political adversary’s policies, have you walking past the more numerous women crying out for safety from the threat posed from their “neighbors’ sons” who were not taught sufficient civility thanks to this type of misdirection You risk supplanting the function of the medical malpractice attorneys who only care about women at risk if there a deep pocket medical facility is the cause of their demise.

Something I found interesting is that I live in a deeply red district who overwhelmingly voted against funding our local sheriffs office. 19 officers are losing their jobs come Jan 1 and we no longer have road patrols outside the city. I guess they’re against defunding the police, unless they’re the ones who are doing the defunding.

Missourians have done this before. They have voted to expand Medicaid but almost always vote for Republicans. They didn't understand that voting for Trump & Hawley would cancel their vote at some point. I have lived here all my life. I don't get it either.

@ I’m sorry I’m not that charitable to this argument. lawyers are careful with their language. They don’t trip up so easily. The tendency of leftists to just go with and adopt every new liberal trend bubbling out of a cauldron in Oakland, CA is doomed to fail. Nobody likes this nonsensical language.

Looking at the US from the outside in I can’t help but see you as an abused partner assuring everyone that the constitution that keeps beating you is actually really good most of the time and we just don’t know what a great document the constitution is when it’s not with it’s friends. Leave it, you deserve a new and better constitution

2004 George W’s win relied on DOMA and homo hate. Today it’s gender fluidity and trans hate. I’m a 65-year-old gay Jew. My synagogue needs armed guards and the extinguishment of sexual minority based on Bible-based bigotry is well in its way using the same base as antiabortion. And yet Jews and gay men race to pump fat stacks at Trump like a broken Fire hydrant. America’s vote proves that crime does pay.

Why don’t we begin by acknowledging that it has ALWAYS been a mistake to place Supreme Court justices, and judges in general, ON A FUCKING PEDESTAL. They’re human, they’re fallible, they are there to serve the public, not the other way around. No more “your honor,” “judge” is perfectly fine, that’s what they are. No more “may I this?” and “may I that?” and “if it please the court.” Courtrooms are there for lawyers to advocate, not to tiptoe around the fragile egos of petty tyrants. The well is the attorney’s domain, not the judge’s fee. Too many “your honors,” and a judge begins to believe they are actually somehow superior to everyone else. Fuck that. They are OUR servants, not the other way around. You two sycophants make me ill.

My god more TDS quasi educated people!!! Can you ever get out of this BS. the dems did everything to destroy trump for 8 years and he keeps coming back. Please be intelligent and try to comprehend what’s going on. Please think about how terrible the dems were. They were anti women not the republicans. Trans women destroying women sports. This is a worthless channel super partisan. What’s worse is to think you are discussing the Supreme Court the highest legal system in our country with tremendous partisan views. Ms brown couldn’t answer what a woman was during her confirmation hearing? Does that bother you?

Trump is a person without honor, dignity or a moral compass. He has no empathy for others. He's the most insecure person I have ever seen. He demonizes anyone who questios anything he says or does...Trump, FOX tv and many American right wing media stars manipulate Trump supporters with ease.

CONVICTED FELON and ADJUDICATED R@PIST! How was that not the end of the election? Everyone that I've heard defend their vote for Hump were massively misinformed and ended up voting against their interest. Unfortunately they screwed all of us in the process. I'm so angry/depressed/disgusted/hopeless/ashamed. I don't see how we compete with Fox "News"/OAN/Newsmax. I'm so tired of yelling into the void against the misinformation. I really don't know how long I'm going to deal with this new reality.

The best way I can summarize my current attitude politically is “let them eat cake”. Voters want 20% blanket tariffs, a national abortion ban, and the deportation of 15 million people? Fine. American voters continue to touch the stove of Republican administrations and they will learn why Democrats have been moving their hand away. When Trump stops being a Rorschach test for the median voter and actually implements his wildly unpopular policies I think the deafening wakeup call will be quite clear. I of course do not wish any of my fellow Americans any harm, I think that this process is inevitable at this point.

I'm not a lawyer. I thought the Supreme Court kicked the can down the road about 2/3 Congress needed to remove the disability of aid and comfort to insurrectionists and being an insurrectionist under the 14th amendment according to a federal grand jury. Isn't it important for Congress to act on this?

I can't get beyond this: When Nixon was sworn into office, we didn't know at the time that he would ultimately betray the country. Besides, at the time we were *still* a recognizable 2-Party system. We are NOT now a 2-Party system (and we haven't been for awhile) and everybody knows this. When T---- is sworn in, he will have to agree to "defend and protect the Constitution". He will say "Yes, I will" and he will be LYING - and we all know this NOW. (Just as we knew Kavanuagh and his 'pals' were lying during confirmation hearings.) But he will be allowed to go through the 'innocuous' ritual of the Inauguration - which will lead to the instant tsunami that follows. Why does NO ONE talk about this - about how absolutely broken a system is when it allows a felon to LIE during an Inauguration oath and then be handed the keys to our destruction?!
