It’s fascinating to hear the breakdown of these decisions affecting Native rights in Oklahoma and elsewhere. I am an Oklahoman and I’ve met Rev. Maxed, whose language efforts are mentioned here. I have been following the abusive tactics of the governor and the legislature in once again abusing the rights of Native peoples. I will be looking for this book.

Excellent explanation of the history of the beginning of the abortion debate in America. 👏👏 I truly appreciate your insight and intelligence on this topic.

I just ordered Ms. Nagles book, on the video she did a wonderful job of presenting the legal questions posed as well as exposing the historical ignorance and misapplication of the laws to benefit mostly white populations at the expense of delivering justice to Native Americans.

Essentially it's not a vote for Trump for president. It's a vote for JD for president. I hope everyone lets that sink in. JD would take many things, including Comstock, literally and he would take them as far as he could, legally or otherwise.

Out of curiosity have you guys ever done some retrospective reviews of legacy of former justices now that you are a little more removed from their tenure on the court?

Australian bloke here, regular listener. We did our own messing about with women’s lives and rights (and haven’t finished the corrections yet) but maybe because we had a different foundational process to the USA, and weren’t established by religious fundamentalists (prison colony, remember) this is all wild to me. Alternatively, maybe we did have rubbish like this, and I don’t know about it. Thank you for the information. I’m sure our homegrown reactionaries will cross-pollinate with their US counterparts and someone will try to poison the water here too. But we don’t have Comstock.

This kind of genocide is happening again. The neglect and criminalization of homelessness. I sometimes wonder if reservations will be the accepted solution to homelessness. As it is the homeless are dying at unacceptable rates. And the mentally ill and the problem of addiction is being shipped to the streets and the jails and prisons. Just say no just means that we are not going to do anything to help you.
@DennisMoore664Ай бұрын
Those reservations will be called Sanctuary Districts and the mentally ill will be refereed to as "Dims" by the guards and staff, and other homeless residents will be called "Gimmes". Star Trek often predicts the future even if it is a bit off on the timing of events.
