Yes of course! Several engines: Drift and Wavetable devices, which are from Ableton Live. I hope they will add more in future updates (like Operator).

I was just thinking that the TP-7 and TX-6 would make good friends with the Move! It would be awesome if the TP-7 could transfer or record files through Move’s USB-c port and multi track. Probably in our dreams though..😢
@MarcusSchmahl2 ай бұрын
That would be awesome. At the moment you can use the analog way, which is working great (of course not for multitrack recordings).

@@MarcusSchmahl Would you compare Move to Polyends Play? Seems similar to me.
@MarcusSchmahl2 ай бұрын
@@kitespongan I think it has got similar features, but it's different on the other side. Because Play doesn't have the possibility to transfer everything between a DAW and the hardware. Move is much easier to use too IMO.

Are all these sounds native to the machine?
@MarcusSchmahl2 ай бұрын
Not all of them are native. I used samples, Move presets and sampled some sounds with the integrated microphone for the 3 layouts.
@HotelEdenMusic2 ай бұрын
This is great, thank you! One concern is polyphony, have you run into voice stealing as I've seen on other devices when playing too many concurrent samples? And is there Master compression/fx?
@MarcusSchmahl2 ай бұрын
I had no voice stealing problems yet. I think the processor is quite powerful. On the master buss there is an always on limiter, which is there to avoid clipping. If you do not want a limiter you only have to turn down the track volumes. On top you have an optional compressor/saturator with some parameters.

Whats so cool is we passed the point where hardware is powerful enough to run stuff like an ableton natively, have enough battery power to be portable and finally its reasonably affordable! Kind of an amazing time to be alive. I can remember when the octatrack came out in the early 2010s it was pretty damn expensive.
@MarcusSchmahl2 ай бұрын
that's true. But I really like the minimalism of this "toy" (or better: instrument). That's why I am more creative and do not need to think about mixing, sounddesign possibilities, plugins, arrangement, etc.
