Fun fact for people watching 6 years later. Xbox didn't get it's own Bloody Roar game, it, in fact got a release of Gamecube's Primal Fury under the Japanese "Extreme" banner. So it was a translation of a port of the Gamecube version.

Always cool to hear your gaming stories! I think that the stories like these (like your GC memories) are what brings us gamers together in the 1st place. Back when you couldn't have access to everything you wanted and you had to play whatever you received as a gift! Simpler times! Solid Snake is my favorite video game character. Metal gear twin snakes was a cool remake on the GameCube. Dreamcast was my favorite console. Shenmue and star war Jedi power battles were awesome!. Then on the og Xbox star wars knights of the old Republic. All those solidified my life as a gamer haha

@@DatGameCollector I heavily disagree with your opinion. They are quirky and cute characters that have fun personalities and provide amazing music for the games. It takes about maybe 20 seconds to skip their conversations at the beginning of the game(s) which isn't that long.

I wonder why did you buy a PS5 Pro since you support physical games. I don't know if you're aware of this issue but only the original PS5 model with the internal disc drive is future proof since the disc drive attachment requires an internet connection in order for Sony to validate the device to read Blu-ray movies and games.

@@DatGameCollector Yes, it will always be dependent on Sony's server to be online in order to activate the disc drive in the initial setup so it's not future proof like the original PS5 model (or any PS4 model) that allows us to play physical media offline with an unregistered account.

@@arioca well with that logic. NONE of the game on ps4 xbone or ps5 or series should be collected as THEY all need day one updates because theyre always broken day one. So none of them are future proof.

Every Sony system (with the exception of the PSP Go) from the PSX until the PS5 original model allows consumers to play physical media offline without a registered account. Xbox 360 is the same as previous Sony's consoles but unfortunately Xbox One and Series X are also like the PS5 Slim and Pro requiring an internet connection to activate them first.

Good video Alex you definitely have talent for speaking in front of the camera. You're still rocking with the Xbox pickups too! I didn't know Resonance of Fate was made by the Star Ocean folks but that does make sense. Cool to see you liked Astro Bot too, the quality on that one really surprised me. My wife just finished it (with some help from me haha) in about 30 hours. She really had a blast and said she'd even pay double the price it goes for to have it because it was so well made.

I'm happy that you're a fan of Seaman. I bought my copy when I was 13 at an EBGames, it was priced at $12.99. I think it was my first T rated game that I was allowed to buy. I played it and my Seaman didn't survive on my first playthrough. Felt kind of bad about it so I tried again and this time he fully matured. I was amazed by the fact that I'm having a real conversation with a fish. Definitely a unique experience that you can't get anymore.

I am very much enjoying the game as well. After listening to reviewers complain about some of the major game mechanics, I got a little nervous, but I found a lot of what I was hearing was wrong with the game actually didn't bother me too much. So far, it's 8/10 game for me 4 hours in.
