The GH5 screen turns off as soon as I connect the HDMI. How do I change this? I don’t even know if it is recording? Is there a way to have the GH5 screen one while connected?

Don’t trust your metering?

The Mini 5 Pro is never coming this summer and is unlikely to come in 2024 at all. There was an 18 month gap between the 3 and 4. With the 250g limits too it's getting harder and harder for them to develop ever better models that are more than just software updates. So you can count out that 1" sensor as it's too heavy and would draw too much power and bigger batteries will be too heavy. All of the upgrades you mention just take the specs of the 4 and you're assuming that the 5 will just be 'better' so it will have more of everything. Crazy as you have nothing, literally nothing to back this up. For example, the Mini 4 Pro has a flight time of 34 mins... the Mini 3 Pro had a flight time of 38 so even though the batteries with the 4 have a larger mAh and are lighter, the drone has a SHORTER flight time, not better. Another example is that the lens is exactly the same so no improvement there, the only improvements came through firmware and software upgrades... so no physical upgrades there either.

DJI Has the Camera and Gimbal. Pocket 3, just put it on the Mini 5

It takes quite a while to assembly all parts? Do you have a custom made case for it? For me maybe the element of the weight of the whole thing raises questions. How heavy is the whole package? Well, thanks for sharing your thoughts! In my opinion I don't expect an M5p this year aleady. Rather, I'm expecting a Mini 4 this year and then a Mini 5 Pro by next year. There was also a longer time between the Mini 2 and the release of Mini 3 pro. What to expect from a M5p? As I was very disappointed not to find the video resolution of 2.7K anymore @M4p but all other drones before had it incl. the DJI Pocket 3 as well as the Action 4, hopefully 2.7K will come back to DJI's newest Mini "kid on the block" then. Btw I returned my M4p due to that fact and kept my M3p instead. If M5p will not bring back 2.7K I'll not upgrade at all like many others. Cheers from Germany, Bernd ✌️🙂
