I just ordered air hockey with the hovering "puck" for our family gift. Now I am 99% done shopping lol We just watched mickeys once upon a christmas tonight (we dont do screens or characters really, but this is a favourite from my childhood that i knew was mostly good, minus the fact we dont do santa). We homeschool too and my child is just learning to read the usborne phonic readers.

I’m curious about the mouse house. Is that also from Maileg? My daughter loves her little maileg mouse and she’s just been using toy nesting suitcases.

It definitely seems fair. I’m sure they will love what you got them and be happy. We got our daughter the same nail polish kit when she was 4. Just be warned it takes FOREVER to fully dry. I highly recommend having a blow dryer handy to dry it faster. My daughter always got impatient waiting for it to dry lol

I agree don't start with IEW. Its great, but wait. My 5th grader is starting it and it is perfect now but it would not have been good any sooner. We're loving it for him, but hes older and can work now. Just keep it fun for now ❤

I've looked at blackbird. If you continue with them, you'll have to review their vibe. I got a sjw vibe from them so I didn't order their lit units. I supplement with Guest Hollow book recommendations. My son loves most of the creative writing prompts/format from this book: Don't Forget to Write for the Elementary Grades. He is not ready for the focus it takes for IEW.

Getting my 7 year old the mini but undecided for my toddler who will be 2 1/2. If I should get her the big one or the mini. Or maybe get both as wondering if she will be able to work the mini on her own. Wanting it for home to help her be independent while I do jobs around the house but will also use out and about in car ect. Which did your youngest like at that age ? Thanks x

Preschool and toddler

We have a Yoto and a mini and love them! But, we have had charging issues, costumer service has been good though and so far our problems have been resolved. I am thinking about getting a Tonie box for my youngest two (1 and 4) as I think they would enjoy it and the characters are more readily available (Target stocks them and Amazon seems to have a big selection); so relatives could potentially gift them at holidays and birthdays

I love the idea of doing art first thing Monday morning, it’s something we don’t always get to either and I hate that bc my kids love art! Thanks for the idea!

Wildcraft comes with some digital resources. One is a downloadable pocket guide that covers how the plant is used and what parts of the plant to use.

I’m using Storybook Latin with my soon to be 3rd grader and we did a lesson together today to see how they are structured and my son really enjoyed it.

Super excited to see this as I have just spend the last three hours picking out yoto content and was torn between the two products! I look forward to watching this shortly!!

I think the size is a big factor for us as we do a lot of travelling - and the fact that the small one has longer battery life while using the same charging cable as our phones/ computer it’s a no brainer that the mini is the one for us! And if we grow a cards collection we might always add the bigger one for stationary use at home :) ❤
