Hey, a fellow female dwarf! It's interesting to see how much your class shapes the way the combat handles. I'm tempted to play through the beginning with other characters just to see how it feels. Props for doing so well with the KB+M controls though, I found them very difficult to use personally. The controller feels much better imo. Also at 10:14 you drink in sync with Varric, how fun lol

This was a great playthrough, thank you very much. I just finished my own game and got the "Leap Forward" ending. VERY satisfying. Worth noting that the dam they look out onto the advanced civilization from is not Earth. It's a far-off planet with other planets in the sky behind it. (they talk about the spaceport remember...) The best thing about this game, regardless of the ending you choose, is how it remembers your choices and how committed it is to them. There are a TON of subtle and not-so subtle variances across these three endings, and that makes me feel so rewarded knowing there were other options on the table.

The developers must have done quite a bit of research on some real-life INFRAstructure when designing this place. There are so many locations and details. (I'm sure that it's not a perfect re-creation, but it all serves the atmosphere well.)

Don't feel bad about using a guide! There's quite a few challenging moments (like the Bergmann tunnels collapse, raft ride etc.) where you have to take photos _and_ do a bunch of BD to survive. There's also a lot of geocaches etc. off the beaten path, so save yourself some time!
@Faptimus42022 күн бұрын
Clockwork was probably the most difficult puzzle out of the three gold ones for me, but when I finally solved it, I think I felt the solution to probably be the most satisfying out of all the puzzles in the whole game. It's the only screenshot I took in the whole game cause it looked so symmetrical. Solving Step by Step felt pretty nice too, but Hysteresis can go die in a fire, the "proper" solution to it just feels wrong

You can turn the water off (like Jen did) and escape through the big pipe, or turn it all back on again and escape down that way. Both lead to the same tunnel.

I just researched what players have said online about that fire alarm in the pump station. There's no way to turn it off. 🤬 It's even on a non-spoiler list of things to keep in mind for this game. Speaking of which, just having the camera out drains its battery.

Passing Through is such a troll of a mechanic, the only reason we can't pass a jammer through a shield or a driller through its own hole is they turn off when you pick them up in your hand. If you can move them without using your hands they go through just fine, lol.

Have you heard of a game called "The Bridge" ? It combines this kind of surrealist storytelling (though in much more of a show don't tell way) with an actual solid puzzle game. It's extremely good yet I see very few puzzle game players who have even heard of it. I think it's a game that you would really appreciate. The art style is hand drawn and beautiful and the puzzles are unique and very clever. And instead of many games where it seems you open or interact with puzzles, The Bridge is more like Portal or The Talos Principle where the puzzle is all around you in the environment (which I prefer and get the sense that you prefer too). Anyway, just a suggestion for future content. I hope you check it out sometime.

Rusty Lake / Cube Escape games tend to have extremely difficult achievements, and this is one of the most obscure! Looking at the 100% guide, honestly I don't know how the information was gathered (maybe on social media or a trailer). Not the strongest game in the series but still interesting lore. Underground Blossom is definitely worth playing IMO.

Ah, if it isn't the consequences of actions. I'm of two minds about the fire alarm. On the one hand it's kinda funny, and is an interesting "don't just press things randomly without thinking" mechanic, but on the other hand it's also a curiosity trap, and they could just as easily have a security room or some other alarm hub where you can shut it off, or even just have the guy call and see if they can disable it remotely, maybe add an awkward phone conversation with HR and the local fire department for your troubles.
@GreatWightSparkАй бұрын
Is there not a way to turn it off? Seems uncharacteristic of the game - the dev's seem pretty pragmatic about that sort of thing, it's very much their humour.
