I believe the "I do not wear the cheese" line is a reference to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And speaking of cheese, a funny way of cheesing The Perpendicular Procedure is to put the connector in front of the door and then stand on the wall inside. You can just take the connector through the door without getting pulled through because you're not on the same plane as the connector or something.

Man, when I did Riddle of the Citadel I got stuck for ages and when I eventually got it, it felt like I had done it in an unintended way. Now I can see that was because I never noticed there was a cube in there 😅

I just finished Into the Abyss and I really enjoyed it, so I wouldn't say it's only pain ahead. Tricky puzzles yes, but I found Orpheus Ascending harder or maybe just more frustrating than Abyss. There's some of those laser shenanigans in Abyss but nothing on the level of the harder puzzles in Orpheus like Step by Step or Clockwork, both of which broke my brain. Is Miranda a new cat that you named after the character in the game? Otherwise that's quite the coincidence given the importance of cats in TTP's universe.

I completely agree. Those 3 gold puzzles in Orpheus Ascending were the hardest in the entire DLC for me. I loved Into the Abyss. It was hard, but never so hard that it became annoying.

I promise you that finding AND getting to the missing sphynx puzzle is very un-fun. You shouldn't feel bad looking that one up. Don't search until you are frustrated. --- Edit: Y'all are right. I shouldn't say such things as if they are objective fact.

I'd argue the opposite: I had quite a lot of fun finding it, because the backgrounds of these Sphinx hints are not empty any more in the DLC; we now have drawings for hints. And for this Sphinx hint in particular, I loved how they played with player expectations.
