wouldnt change the gravity of the entire project tho, you can do that specifically to the player on his rigidbody

There’s an issue with this where my character is slower moving to the left and doesn’t get affected by decceleration, but the moving right works fine, any ideas?

Great tutorial and it also helped me a lot to think how i actually want my game to be. Although I have 1 problem: I have copied and changed some code to make it fit my game and everythings seems to work perfectly fine but when i open the game to test and press teh jump button it doesn't actually jump. It just resets the jump timer. Anyone knows how to fix this please?

This video helped me so much with my 2d platformer! Thank you so much! I've been trying to apply this logic to 3d, but I haven't been succesful doing so, mainly for the acceleration and deceleration. I want to be able to manipulate how fast the player reaches their max speed and how fast they reach zero speed when stopping (being able to make both different numbers). The main issue that I'm having is that while I can apply the same syntax, because I'm working on a 3d environemnt, the direction of the force can't be specified with Vecrto2.right. I tried making two different methods, one to calculate the x axis, and the other to calculate the z axis (both having the same code but different parameters), but it still doesn't work. Can you make a video for these tips and tricks for 3D? I found this video super usedul for my 2d game and I think a 3d variation would be really nice too. Again, thanks for the help!

I am really not understanding the ground and wall checks. My character still won't jump. Is there something I'm doing wrong? (Based on debug, the input for jump works, but the ground and wall checks are not detecting anything.) Also, my character feels slippery despite the change of values.

Great video, it's helped me a lot in my coding! I was wondering if there would be a way to alter the script so that the player character's direction changes based on rotation so that the x axis always faces the way the player is looking - rather than by flipping the x-axis as the code is currently written

I ve set everything except Layers n Tags section I ve tried to create a layer named GroundL and then I ve changed my ground objects layer to GroundL and did the same to player movements inspecter layer value but even if I did this My player wont jump and if I change my players layer to GroundL my player can jump İnfinitely how can I adjust Layers and Tags Section Thanks for the help in advance

I ve installed the demo and almost copied everything after that other than script because it has dash and animator thingies but other than that its almos %100 still my character wont jump from ground it only does wall jump from walls how can I fix it
