Oh I missed the very first reaction to Forestella. Sometimes it takes time to publish a video through copyright process, I guess it happened to this video. As this is from KBS show Immortal Songs, better filter it like blurs on or transparent. Already many comments said they are Korean, so I won't tell you about it again. Just keep it in your mind that No Korean likes to be confused as Chinese or Japanese. It would be a long story like a history class to tell why.. Forestella can sing in various languages. Please check their version of Shape of you in English, Spanish and Zulu. I'm curious if you understand Zulu as it's one of African languages. Some said it was Xhosa but I don't know both. (Their reference is Shape of you cover by Ndlovu Youth Choir tho.)

This is a famous French song, Je suis malade. (I'm sick) The original singer is Serge Lama. However, Forestella sang this song as an homage for Lara Fabian's version. It notes in the lyrics with terms in feminine form (orpheline, heureuse). But Serge Lama posted his praises about this stage on his official SNS. (Twitter, IG, FB). Forestella released their Korean version of this song in their 3rd album: the Forestella. 눈물 속에 홀로 (Alone in Tears) has lyrics in Korean. Even the words in the lyrics were changed a lot from the original Je suis malade, you can feel the deep emotions and vibes of the original in it if you try to listen. One of the members of Forestella (Bae DooHoon) contributed in writing some lyrics in Korean as well.

Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. This angel is one of the best singers (incredible extremely low vocal, dramatic contralto + polyphonic voice) in the world! Diana Ankudinova I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 21 (turned 31st May) and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on KZbin.
