Great video but please do some research. Carnival is lying about a Texas Law. I live 30 minutes from the port in Galveston, and the Royal Caribbean Port is a block away from Carnival. As soon as you step on the Royal Caribbean Ship, your drink package starts. It has to do with state alcohol taxes that Royal Caribbean is covering, and Carnival does not. This is a huge lie!

Paradise Beach has better drinks, however, do not get the upgrade 30 dollar premium upgrade for Paradise Beach, they do offer good liquors but they do not use premium triple secs, so they mixed drinks are really not much better, if you have ten drinks, that's 3 dollars extra per drink, but the included drinks are really good, better than Mr. Sanchos

Don’t understand why they require everyone over 21 to purchase the drink package in a cabin. Other cruise lines don’t have this requirement but you do have to call in to get that. There a multiple reasons someone may not want to drink or can’t drink. Also don’t know why they don’t start the package once onboard from certain ports (Galveston!). Again, other cruise lines do this but they do limit what you can have until you are out of Texas waters.

People with the drink package you don't have to hit 15 drinks per day..... Premium drinks are $14.00 you only have to drink 5 perday toget your $70 dollars perday cost, so anything past 5 drinks you are at an advantage. Also the drink package includes unlimited water and specialty coffees. To me it is a no brainer

I never purchase the drink package. I never drink 15 drinks.. but my wife does not drink at all and buying two packages costs way more than my bar bill.

What would anyone recommend, not either of these things?If we just want to go to a quiet beach that has not rough water, lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent, And? Close by food To purchase if we want to eat. We don't drink alcohol so we really don't want to pay for a Possibly noisy club.

For many people, even people like me who will drink no more than three alcoholic beverages a day, it's better to pay for it out front and not worry about a large bill at the end

If we can’t drink on embarkation day which is around “USA COAST” or the U.S. regulations that we follow … it’s made sense that Not Charge for de-embarkation day…. Win and lose “I guess “

30 dollars for upgraded liquor per person for your entire party can be expensive but I think worth it, Trying it in a few months, No cheepy booze for me

@@stephaniemorrissey123 I don’t understand , to pay 30$ above the all inclusive price which is about 65$, how is that cheap, I think it’s a splurge, plus in know they way water down the drinks normally, how can I have 12 margaritas on the rocks in 6 hours and be fine, I am going to see if upgraded liquor is watered down

You’re not limited to just beer and wine on the first day out of Galveston. You’re limited to certain brands of all kinds of alcohol that are produced in Texas - or distributed by certain Texas distributors. Also, the benefit of top shelf is that it is of higher quality in taste (usually). Top shelf drinks will give you a hangover the same as any other brands. It’s the amount of alcohol that produces a hangover. Remember to drink water with electrolytes as you are partying.

You do not pay for the last day. Think of drink package as number of nights not days.

We were at Paradise Beach in April 2024, and the beach under the water was rocky, never experienced that at Paradise or Nachi! They actually had men standing on the beach to help people out of the water so they wouldn't fall down and hurt themselves! One other thing we didn't like was Paradise was service only, where Mr Sanchos was service and several buffets! And the wait at Paradise was a lot longer than 10 mins sometimes! The changing area at Paradise was the cleanest we've seen in Cozumel, and their food was good, but we're beach people and the rocks at Paradise even with water shoes made it a loser to us!

One big pool with a lot of people, call it a bath tub! But even Mr Sanchos with smaller pools are crowed too!

Do you mean the drinking water? I'm curious too. I've yet to see anyone post that they got sick after eating & drinking at either club. My Dr looked me dead on and said DO NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING WHILE IN MEXICO...LOL. I got soooo sick 💩💩💩💩after visiting Cancun when I was in my 20s. Not fun :(.

We were disappointed with the beach at Mr Sancho because of the horrible slope to get out of the water.

We were at Paradise Beach at the end of April, 2024, and under the water was bis rocks you couldn't see, so they put men on the beach to help people out of the water cause it was dangerous to fall! Reminded me of the places downtown Cozumel with rocks under the water! Most people that brag about Paradise are pool people, not beach!

I like Paradise, however I don’t actually consider it a “beach club” as I found the beach area at Paradise to be nasty every time. Seaweed, rocky, hard to enjoy. Been there many times and stayed by the pool every time. Mr Sancho’s is our numero uno for sure.

If you like the beach its Sanchos, if you like the pool, its Paradise!

Good comparison!! I went to Mr Sanchos in 2022 and had a blast. I do appreciate the tables to eat and then moving down to a lounger by the beach. However, the drinks & pool and pier have me sold this trip for Paradise Beach !
