My first few cruises were with Carnival and Princess. Last year my wife tried out Royal. We sailed 4 in a row from 2022 to 2023. After getting the Royal experience out of our system, we can honestly say there are several things we STILL prefer about Carnival. Royal Caribbean is definitely not worth being 100 percent loyal to. Really looking forward to Carnival Celebration Nov 2024!!

I definitely enjoy spending time on the lido deck and on the back of the ship. So the tides pool and tiki bar for me.

I have been on Celebration. One thing I feel Carnival is doing wrong on these ships is putting on large shows in the central area. There is not enough room for guests to see the show. Use the theater for large production please. We were unable to see several shows due to not being any room. People will go hours early and "Reserve" aka hold seats for several people. The ships are nice but hey they are new!. Lots of great food for sure! They are big and lots of people.

This is disappointing information. We had that experience on Norwegian and It was really awful.

I’m going on a Canaveral cruise I’m nov 13 i have never been on one so I’m excited because it’s only 5 days till I go and this will be the first time I have ever been one a 7 day trip….

How the heck Do you get from Houston airport to the Galveston cruiseport? I'm flying from Boston,Mass. I can't find an airline that flies into Galveston.

You would have to find transportation from the Houston airport. It’s about 45 mins to an hour I believe. There should be shuttles you can take. I don’t know all the details since I haven’t cruised out of Galveston yet. Some will tell you to stay at least one night before in Galveston, rather than in Houston.
