Hi @carlosmarx2380 Yes, when uploading to the render farm, the entire Blender file and all assets assigned to the job need to be uploaded for the rendering process to be completed. We understand that with a slow internet connection and large files, which can be up to 2GB, the upload may take several hours but this is the only way.

Hi, there are very small discrepancys in the starting time of different render engines, but in most cases these are just seconds. Of course if you are rendering a 1000 frames animation, then you will have at the end a much higher startupg time, if we add all those up. In the end you can use any other engine as a reference. Still, we recommend you to submit a test or use the Render Cost Estimation feature from the farminizer. This will upload the whole project, but only render 3 frames, and estimate the final result. Notice, the 3 frames are randomly selected, so if they are not from the most intensive render part, the suggested result might still differ.

Just use TIFF

@@rossdanielart absolutely using TIFF for all my png-esque needs, THEN convert to png as needed. However, the FOG with the light stuck in it, as needed, is not rendering. It is only rendering on the object surfaces. It doesn't render in empty space, so to speak! However, I have tried to use aiShadowMatte, and partially managed to achive the desired effect. If you will manage to find any work flow that allows for the fog light to render in space, i'd be delighted! Cheers and thanks for hte reply!

@@warandvictory3535 I'm not sure what you mean by a "fog light" but if you are talking about volumetric light then you must have an aiAtmosphereVolume in the scene to see the volume rays of any light. (render settings>arnold renderer tab >"Environment" dropdown) Then you would have to reduce the density to suit your needs. set density to like 0.010 and a darker greenish blue color always looks good.

@@rossdanielart hiya, thanks for engaging further. Yes, i am/was using ai atmos volume and the problem persisted, however, i used values of 01 upwards to 1, which did not work. Will try using now 0.010 but the feeling is again that it will nto work. I guess if it is not working with HIGHER volume, higher density, MORE illumination and illuminated particles, what is the chance of it to work with a 0.01 OR 0,0001 or any other magnitude figures. But I will try nevertheless. If you have got time to MODEL the issue at your end, will be MOST grateful and you could certainly keep this question and an answer (if you are successful modelling and resolving it) for one of your next videos.
