I want to use a front paddock stand but my bike won't accept a rear paddock stand due to the exhaust pipes. Q: Can you use a front paddock stand with the bike's centre stand?

So a filthy old caked up air filter is why you got good dyno numbers? lol what?

Surely that's not the ideal place to mount the brake reservoir, it's right in way of the throttle adjusters and potentially causes rubbing on the hose. Good example of what not to do IMO

Some padding at the bottom would have been nice for those who do garage or driveway work

Rear preload, right hand side panel off. Screwdriver and hammer, turn the spring by hand job done. Don't pull half the bike apart bro!

So simple and effective! Today's superbikes are rolling computers with 200+ HP out the box. I am glad to hear Mat Mladin was acquitted of his ex-wife's allegations back in Australia. Sad situation but the good news is the truth is now out there.

I too have an '08 HYM 1100S. Subsequent generations, i.e., the 821/939/950 SP versions, have more suspension travel, front and rear. 1100S: F 6.5", R 5.6"; all next-gen SPs: F 7.3", R 6.9". Sitting on any SP, I'm doing the "ballerina thing," as Dave called it. Why did Ducati increase the travel? Merely to increase ground clearance for more lean angle on the track? Is there an optimal amount of travel for a road bike at road speeds, taking into consideration the way a spring reacts as it compresses and expands?

Grate to point out that you’re popping and gasing basically the same time. I feel the common mistake is to gas first then pop the clutch.

I was able to adjust preload by taking seat and side panel off. I used a flathead screw driver to loosen/tighten nut and my hand to adjust spring. Took me about 30 minutes to get the setting right with the help of someone measuring for me.

I just read that the film is intended for bike racing purposes only . So giving advice to beginners about applying racing techniques to ride the streets or roads can be counter productive. I’m just giving my comment based on warning I read on the film . I think the main idea is not to encourage bikers to race on public streets.
