several layers of hair spray (cheap and passable) or gloss (expensive and sturdier) on the dried flowers will help them last better.

1) You're incredibly funny but also concise. Love the video editing and everything. Overall very informative and doesn't waste my time 2) Thank you so much for showing the whole process. Feel like not only has the gateway to making Little Guys like this has been unlocked for me, but also I've had full warning that with them comes the potential for artistic mental breakdowns too. Which I am very prone to :D 3) The bgm reminds me of Bagpuss. Props to your composer ;) 4) No seriously these Little Guy videos really just might have every answer I need and I didn't have to scour the internet for them

Also can I just mention the designs and lore for your characters are 10/10 Like I'm not someone that gets hooked on OC's but man you really cooked here. Even your digital art goes hard btw
@GoblinGirlStudioСағат бұрын
Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos! Trying to find the balance of talking about what I'm doing, but not over explaining, and making it funny, but not too off topic has been really hard so I'm so glad you feel like it's working here!! And I'd never heard of Bagpuss before until your comment!! I'm learning about so many cute animal stop motions and stories from this comment section, it's so awesome! I can't wait to sit down and watch a little!! I'll pass the music props along!! 💜 And I'm so glad you like the lore and designs! I feel like I've never been much of an OC person either, but there's something about these critters that's felt so different for me than when I tried to make OCs in the past. It feels less like I'm trying to come up with lore, and more like it's already all there in front of me, I just have to dig for it. It's been really fun!

The dry humor is what nails this for me. Also, all the little things that just made me nod and go '..... that's clearly something I'd do' in regards to finding super complicated ways to do seemingly complicated tasks. The only thing is that your nails are so amazing!! Now no one will believe me when I say my nails are short and unmanicured because I'm an artist/gardener who needs to be hands on with my passions in life! also im lazy

Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed! And as for the nails, haha, I had a special occasion, so it was the first time I had gotten my nails done in like two years for the exact same reasons! And I immediately shoved my hands in a bag of dirt after getting them done, so I don't know that I took very good care of them lol

IDK how your channel works, whether there's all the tarot cards here, whether they get mixed up or if there's only these three that I just saw. But it feels relevant so I kind of want to give my interpretation of them - The Devil, The Tower, and Death. They all sound so negative, but they're really not, and if anyone else feels personal about this I'd like to give them some comfort. The Devil isn't an evil card. It's about being bound to something, and finding a way out of that bondage. It means that you are in charge of your destiny, whether you stay where you've been (which may not be good) or whether you use your mind and resources to escape and find something new. The Tower is actually the scariest card here. It implies something dramatic and painful is happening or about to happen. It implies major change. It implies that trying to hold on to what has been will not result in anything positive, but warns that what is coming will also be painful even though facing it is necessary. It does not imply that you cannot handle whatever is coming, but it does predict that the growth it takes to face it will put you into discomfort as you stretch your boundaries into unknown areas. Death is actually the mildest card here. It implies that once all the drama is over, you're going to be okay. The horse and rider and everyone in the card is calm. You're going to get through this. Like pulling a bad tooth, once it's over, it is over. You'll move forward into whatever comes with a sense of completion. Maybe not joy, but not fear either. It's like a big reset. Everything will be okay.
@GoblinGirlStudioСағат бұрын
These are the only three that I have made--they're for a specific joke in an illustration I've been working on which is why they're all the scariest-looking ones. Though I agree, they are not negative cards! Thank you for sharing these interpretations, these are all really great explanations of them! The one thing I'll add about the Tower (or at least my interpretation of the tower) is that in the sequence of the Major Arcana it is followed by the Star, which is a card of healing, rebuilding, and new hope. To me, the presence of the Tower implies the Star to follow. Something brighter is coming, but the tower has to clear the way for it first. Thanks again for sharing!! 💜

I'm really glad I saw this video because I have several gourds I dried intentionally this year to make rattles. But I didn't know how to deal with the moldy skin. And I was super curious what the insides looked like, although I have no intention to cut them open. I'm glad I got to see the inside of yours so I don't have to! I'm gonna paint mine with acrylic paints to make them colorful. I don't know if that's the best thing to do but I don't love the natural discolorations so that's my best guess.
@GoblinGirlStudioСағат бұрын
So glad to help!! Some additional tips I've learned from the comments on this are: Use vinegar instead of bleach to kill the mold on the outside! Apparently bleach might not kill all the mold, but vinegar will (though, I still recommend doing lots of your own googling on safety before you take my word for it!) And I heard that shoe polish is good for coloring gourds (If you have any that you want to be more rich natural brown colors). If you're wanting something more colorful, I think you're on the right track with acrylic though! Good luck on your gourds!!
@Marialla.15 сағат бұрын
Please don't take this the wrong way!! But when I first saw your gourd dangling my instant thought was "it looks like a shrunken head". NOT that it isn't a cute purse for your fairy outfit! But I mean also another version might be to paint it like a skull or something for a different sort of fairy.
@GoblinGirlStudio2 сағат бұрын
I can totally see it! And a little skull bag would be so cool for a dark fairy costume!

Hi, completely random, but I just got an idea for an art doll. (Please note that this isn’t a request I just saw some cute stuff on Pinterest) what about a little frog who lives in your mole and mouse’s area who is a hot air balloonist? Little conductor outfit and his adorable little hot air balloon. Or maybe the hot air balloon gig is only a dream that he has. Idk. That’s all. Thanks for reading ✌️
