Name suggestion (if you're still taking them): Buggy because it's cute, fits with her owner's naming convention, and could be meant to refer to strollers because she's his baby, BUT also is defined as a type of car and horse-drawn cart, all means of transportation, or _escape_ >:) Maybe foreshadowing her being taken to a city's nature reserve after Moleton has a character arc where he realizes the townspeople like him and his pet doesn't so if he loves her he has to let her go??? And occasionally he visits to check on her and she's genuinely happy to see him because he finally listened to her needs??? YOUR CHARACTERS ARE SO FUN TO THINK ABOUT 🖤🩷

Pfft. Any crocheter who gives you hell for frogging is just lying that they don't. The fact you could crochet with embroidery floss is impressive - I couldn't, that's for sure. But I'm a knitter primarily, so I might just have knitted it instead. I absolutely adore your sense of humour, your artwork and your whole aesthetic. These little critters are the best thing ever and I am in love.

Thank you so much!!! Agh, I actually really wanted to knit this sweater because I like the look of knitting so much better, but I just don't understand knitting as well. Like, I can follow a pattern, but I haven't developed enough of a knitting brain yet to figure out making a pattern. Maybe one day, it looks so pretty!!
@JustAnotherBuckyLover9 күн бұрын
@@GoblinGirlStudio I feel the same about crochet, haha. I can follow patterns but if I had to try and figure out anything that I couldn't make from basic shapes, I'd have no idea. Thank you so much for sharing! I admire your bravery in jumping out there like you have. Your work is amazing and you deserve all the followers! Also, for the future, liquid sculpy is absolutely great for getting clay to stick to wire. I can't say for sure if it would work the same with apoxy sculpt, though. Cosclay is clay that's mean to be able to still be flexible once baked, though. Just some thoughts/ideas you might try.

Thank you so much!! And thank you for these suggestions!! I’ve been meaning to try liquid sculpy for that. I think I’ve also heard of bake and bond? And I actually just tried cosclay for the first time to make posable hands, and that will be coming up in a video soon!!

I don't know why, but it just seems so fitting for someone who's making children's tales style creatures to ask "Do beetles. . . even have meat?" Also, your crafting is great, love the videos. You've no reason to worry if people will like your art or your videos, no matter what you make, it'll affect the day, week, etc. of at least one person, and in most cases a lot more. Since what you make is lovingly crafted with a lot of thought put into it, many people will be much more drawn to it ^w^

In the future I’d recommend using an actual glaze instead of clear nail polish if you want something to last. Nail polish will yellow and get gummy over time unfortunately, and this cutie is so precious she has to last!
@GoblinGirlStudioКүн бұрын
Oh! That is good to know! I didn't realize Nail Polish would get gummy!! (I guess it makes sense since it doesn't need to be made to last all that long on fingers!) Do you have any glazes you reccomend?
@faitht895222 сағат бұрын
@ I personally use either Dureclear or Liquitex varnish depending on what I need. Don’t let duraclear fool you with the matte varnish, it dries shiny. Sculpy also has a really good high gloss varnish. They all need a few coats but they last a lot longer. Krylon has some spray varnishes but if you don’t have ready access to good ventilation I don’t recommend them

Your jokes catch me off guard all the time, lol XD "General turd shape achieved" XD XD And the return of the boyfriend's brush! XD The drawing of the inside of the big's head was the cherry on top, that cracked me up so much :'D Absolutely chef's kiss video once more :) :) For the antenna, I was so scared that there would be cracks in your clay when you tried to pose them. Would, for a future project (If you somehow wanted to incorporate something that needs small, moving parts), something in the vein of an interlocking antenna work? Like, create a round hollow, then glue the "antenna" to a round bead that you can pop in like a reverse botfly larva, so that the antenna becomes mobile? As for the bug's name... June seems nice :D I know, lame, but it's also close to "juvenile" (with some far-fetched imagination). Polly, or Beatrice Ursula Gertrudine also sounds neat, imo.
@GoblinGirlStudio2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much!! I loved doing the bug head illustration that was one of my favorites so far!! And that is actually a really good idea!! They make tiny round interlocking tubes, like the square ones I used to attach the legs. I could glue the wire into the smaller tube, and then be able to snugly fit them into the head! I think they have ones that are small enough that it would be pretty discreet! And June is cute!! Somehow I didn’t think of that? And Beatrice is nice too! You’re the second person to recommend it, and I’m realizing now it’s probably because it’s kind of close to “beatle”! Haha I’m kind of drawn to Gertrude/gertie now….oh, I like that one!
