Sports fan, no longer subscribed to sky, I downgraded to now tv which is a little cheaper, thinking of pulling the plug on that, because United are terrible atm haha! Never owned a credit card. Make my own coffee! Cook most days or enough to last a few days, this encourages me to not buy junk food on the way home from work after a long day. Thinking of ending the gym membership, im a posty and work involves a lot of walking and heavy lifting, lots of steps, I might start doing push ups and squats at home and bunning the gym membership. Have you got any videos on how to open account on invest engine i started investing by watching your videos on how to open vanguard account. Had it not been for your videos showing step by step i would not invested. I only know index fund not etf set it and leave it. I am looking for lower fees as vanguard put fees up. I know the fund i want on invest engine but not found videos on using this platform or broker not sure if they are as good as vanguard. I love vanguard your videos.

Hence the amount that should be compared with the interest saved from the mortgage option (73k) should only be the capital gain and dividend net of taxes, I would suggest you revise the calculations

Something seems not clear and would appreciate a clarification. Assume my pension pot is just 5,000 and I earn 20,000 per annum. How can this grow to 100,000k in five years. I could see you used the annual salary to calculate the ension pot after 5 years. The initial pension pot is not in the calculation at all.

I'm currently investing in the stock market because of the liquidity of the asset and the returns. However, if I were in my long term home, I would consider also paying off the mortgage faster. But at this point I'm considering moving as early as next year. This move to a bigger house would mean a bigger mortgage so a bigger deposit will be needed. So having more cash would decrease the next mortgage I'll have to pay (I think!) but also, it'll give me more for all those extra little things around buying a home that you can only buy with cash.
