Obama gave this clown and a lot of other anti Trump clowns the Presidential medal of Freedom. I guess now it’s time to give the Democrat establishment their moneys worth for the medal in propaganda.

I can totally see her point. Even if we accept that it was easier for Skeeter to publish, this movie still has a lot of problems. The fact that we have way more prominent white characters and we focus on their lives way more time than on the Maids (that this movie is supposed to be about!) is outrageous enough.

Ms Davis, please don’t regret doing this movie, tho it may have caused you some later difficulty in type casting. That has happened to many actors, not just you! The message of the movie and the overall portrayal of the time when we all grew up was so important. I was 14 then, and lived in the Caribbean on St Thomas. I well remember how white people treated black people. Now, as a retired white teacher in NC, I have seen a lot of nasty things from all sides. Because we are flawed human beings- not because of race! This movie has an essential job in showing how it was and still is in many instances. This is why it is important for the US to be a multicultural nation. Skin color is varied and does not matter. We are richer and safer in diversity than we are as a homogeneous racial society. Nobody has a special place at God’s right hand but Jesus! So to speak. You and your fellow actors have done everyone a great service in holding up the mirror to nastiness! Never regret how much you have done to help improve and correct this situation. Thank you all!

People who really follow and believe in Jesus Christ don’t hate anyone. They don’t agree with choices made that go against what God instructions. That goes for anyone who sins not just that community. Liars, thiefs, fornicators they all need Jesus Christ. It’s never the person it’s the sin that God hates

(I realize this is old.) BALD DON SQUARE HEAD! When you look at the back view of Trump's head it appears to be square, but when the wind blows or somehow it gets exposed his rather large pink bald area appears lending to his new name - 'Bald Don Square Head', which is quite befitting (think 'Sponge Bob Square Pants')

She’s a whore who claimed he gave her the best two years of her life then cheated on him with a younger man. She just couldn’t keep her legs closed and then to add insult to injury she backstabs her metoo fems and Hollywood wants to support her? Proof that whole society is foobar’ed

Rose McGowan is an idiot and a hypocrite. She was very vocal during #metoo and more or demanding people's heads on a platter and demanding that people she deemed guilty be brought to justice, canceled and detained. But when it later emerged that her own friend, actress Asia Argento (who herself cried during metoo), had drunk and sexually assaulted an underage teenage boy (a child actor who previously played her son) in a hotel room. McGowan instead went out and asked people to "be gentle" with Argento and show compassion. And the hypocrisy in Asia is unreal, she abused young men and made her boyfriend pay off them (probably triggering his suicide).

That’s too bad she feels that way. I was kept by a young black woman. I pushed a chair over to where she was ironing, kissed her on the cheek and told her I loved her. I was 3 or 4. She is the reason I grew up without prejudice or bias. I’ve never been a racist. I knew the nasty names and derogatory things said about blacks but from my experience I knew they were not true. They never were. Watching this movie brought back how deep my experience affected me for life.

I don't understand that because I thought the movie portrayed the culture very well. I always thought it was outrageous how they let black people raise their children, and clean for them, and cook for them, and do their laundry but they couldn't use the same bathroom because doctors were telling them they could get diseases.

It’s the White Savior Trope which centers a white person heroically saving the Black people - this popular film Trope ignores and entirely omits the most imporant fact: the fact that it was STATISTICALLY HISTORICALLY OVERWHELMINGLY BLACK PEOPLE who were Civil Rightd Activists. PLUS those Black Activists risked their lives / safety / livelihood / were often beat up / lynched and were VERY ACTIVE - They did a lot stealthily even before the Civil. Rights Movement. While in the White Savior Trope the white person is happy go lucky and the Movie Script OMITS ANY MENTION of LOCAL movements Local Organisations which were black and working fighting for the black rights movement. Yes white people helped in the Black Civil Rights movement but the vast majority of the hard work was done by Black Activistis. The movie „The Help” distorts this well documented by historians reality to make it seem like the White Character was a catalyst hero for doing something unique and brave. Not unique since since the end of slavery Black people had hundreds of grassroots stealthy actisits movements and organised, and not THAT brave since historic data proves white Civil Rights activists statistically were almost never killed, rarely beat up, women never beat up unlike black women activists who risked being literally LYNCHED for their underground civil rights engagement. Having a background in both cultural studies and film studies I hope I explained the White Savior Trope.

God, the Father created every human being on planet earth, so we are all His children by creation (Acts 17:28 see below) , and once we surrender our lives to Him drawing each of us to enter His spiritual (not only natural) family, we become His children, not only by creation, but also by regeneration (we become new creatures having been forgiven of our past, present and future sins bc of Jesus shedding His blood on the cross for me and you unto death, thereby satisfying the price that needed to be paid for my and your sins). Therefore, as our Parent (by creation +/-regeneration) to Whom we are all responsible, whether living or dead, we need to ask Him about every detail of our lives, Including who we marry, how many kids we have, etc. etc. bc He is the only PERFECTLY LOVING PARENT Who knows what is perfect for each of us. How do we know His best for each of us? Read and obey His Bible! We will experience, perfect, love, perfect joy, and perfect peace If we will trust Him. You don’t/can’t rust Him? Ask God the Holy Spirit to help you! He will be THRILLED!!🤣 Acts 17:28 KJV “for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”
